The Human Resource team sits in the People & Culture department of FKT and we strive to build a culture that is of openness and growth as we oversee the life cycle of our employees. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will be part of the team that strategizes, administers and facilitates HR policies and initiatives to attract, develop and retain employees.
What the new job entails:
- Process full cycle payroll, claims, insurance and benefits administration independently.
- Take charge of the HRIS system to maintain employee records, report generation for monthly reporting/ submissions and handle troubleshooting/ administration matters pertaining to the system.
- Execute and provide support for appraisal exercise, performance moderation exercise, compensation projects and participate in initiatives such as salary reviews and bonus calculations.
- Review and update policies and workflows to ensure effectiveness, alignment and compliance.
- Drive and develop scholarship and overseas attachment programmes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) and participate in career fairs and internship programmes.
- Handle employee relations, resolving conflicts and mediating grievances.
- Administer off-boarding procedures seamlessly, including exit interviews and clearances.
- Primary liaison with the relevant government agencies (eg: MOM, ICA, IRAS) on staff matters, pass applications, surveys and annual government-related submissions (eg: CPF, IR8A. IR21 and government claims etc.)
- Active participation in the planning and execution of any ad-hoc activities or programme organised by the P&C Team (eg: CSR, Lunch & Learn initiatives etc.).

The ideal candidate should possess
- Diploma in any discipline with 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in the above-mentioned HR functions.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to understand and provide solutions to our business units.
- Good oral and written communication skills; able to formulate, write and present.
- Customer-oriented personality and a good team player, strong work ethics, results-oriented, persuasive and diplomatic during negotiations.
- Efficient, consistently meets goals and deadlines, able to perform under pressure.
- Strong attention to details, high accuracy and able to maintain high level of confidentiality.
- Social media-savviness and proficient in Microsoft Office (in particular, Excel and PowerPoint)
