• Communicate with your team to understand status of equipment planning for each project.
• Support your team by preparing a draft packing list according to Engineering equipment breakdown list prepared by Technical Managers.
• Understand equipment which are away and supposed to be part of the packing list once arrive back to the base and track them to ensure tested and prepared.
• Follow up with engineering and warehouse teams to update the serial numbers of requirement in the packing list as they prepare.
• Keep the packing list updated for any changes required by client or technical manager.

• Support your team with for maintaining inventory by recording SNs of newly purchased CAPEX and removal of written-off CAPEX.

Research Fellow, Science, Mathematics and Technology Cluster – LBELL group, to work on cutting-edge brain-inspired computing research as a member of the group that includes Desmond Loke and Yu Jiang. There will be a possibility to work with external collaborators for the deployment of brain-inspired computing algorithms.

Job Scope

• The candidate will join an interdisciplinary and highly collaborative team of Scientists and Engineers.
• Responsible for enhancing the LBELL group's capability in brain-inspired computing development, and design of algorithms, overseeing model development and technology use, maintenance, and troubleshooting;
• Communicating results to the scientific community through publications and presentations; and
• Supervising undergraduate students and laboratory technicians.

Job requirements

Required: a Ph.D. in mathematics, computer science or a related field; prior experience with machine learning, programming is required; experience with software system; strong interpersonal and oral presentation skills; self-motivation; and attention to detail. Must be able to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment, contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team, execute detailed technical procedures meticulously, and prioritise and perform multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment. Supervisory experience is preferred.
