• The candidate must have experience and specialized expertise in multiphoton/ 2-photon in vivo calcium imaging and data analysis, or in gnotobiotic studies and microbiome analysis/bioinformatics.

Key Competencies/Requirements:

• Hold a doctoral (PhD) degree in neuroscience or relevant disciplines with strong publication track record
• Lead impactful work within the lab’s research theme on the microbiome gut brain neuroscience
• Exhibit proficiency in mice/rodent handling, optogenetics and behaviours, animal surgery and dissection
• Demonstrate experience and specialized expertise in multiphoton/ 2-photon in vivo calcium imaging and data analysis, or in gnotobiotic studies and microbiome analysis/bioinformatics
• Be highly motivated and conscientious, able to work independently and with a team, and willing to teach, learn, and assist with essential lab duties

1)Processing payments and preparing cheques.

2)Supporting Accountant in data entry and information gathering for report purposes.

3)Record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

4)Process and verify invoices, match them with purchase orders and delivery receipts, and ensure timely payment to vendors.

5)Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.

6)Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies and verifying supporting documentation.

7)A/R, A/P transactions.

8)Any other ad-hoc work instructed by the superior for account-related matters.

Provide admin and sales clerical support.

Issuing invoices and updating accounts receivables, enquiring about outstanding payments, and keeping records.

Segregating invoices for delivery.

Assist in general administration duties and Ad-hoc duties· Answer and direct phone calls.

Assist in the preparation of regular monthly reports.

Develop and maintain a filing system.

Update and maintain office policies and procedures.

Submit and reconcile worker's salary reports.

Provide general support to visitors.

Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries.
