Job Responsibilities:

Job Description

A full-time Research Assistant position in the team led by Assistant Professor Chua Wei Ling is available at the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies, National University of Singapore. The selected candidate will work closely with the Principal Investigator in the research domains of (i) nursing staffing and patient outcomes and (ii) post-sepsis syndrome.

This position provides an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to further experience in research with a view to a Master’s and/or PhD with the Principal Investigator.

Appointment will be made on a 12-month contract basis in the first instance, with the possibility of extension, depending on project commitments and candidate’s career objectives.

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

1. Oversee the administration and general management of the research projects, including support with grant and ethics application and liaise with relevant stakeholders in preparing research agreements.

1. Policy implementation: Review and update policy on research security and collaborate with research units to implement related procedures and protocols.

As the Research Engineer (Equipment/Operations), you are directly involved in tool installation activities for semiconductor process tools. You would need to work proactively to coordinate with the contractor on the ground for the execution and take corrective and preventive actions of lessons learned, due diligently to prevent reoccurrence. You are responsible for performing utilities turn-on after installation is completed. You must perform the activities per ASTAR site procedure and safety policies to ensure all tool-install-related activities are completed, meeting safety, quality, schedule and budget requirements. What will I be doing?

As the Accounts Officer – Accounts Payable & Revenue Audit, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Account for and audit all purchase orders, receive records and suppliers’ invoices (purchase invoices matching procedure).
