• Perform experiments to analyse and determine the root cause of failure in GaN devices (e.g. Transistors, Capacitors, Inductors, Resistors, and Diode) and circuits.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• PhD degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Materials Science or Physics, MS degree in EE with 5+ years or BS degree with 7+ years of relevant working experiences.
• > three-year of FMEA experience in step-by-step approach for identifying all possible failures in the semiconductor industry.
• FMEA experience in Wide-Bandgap (WBG) devices (GaAs, GaN) is plus.
• Good knowledge of WBG device physics and its fabrication is a big plus.
• In-Depth understanding of FMEA techniques (e.g. delaying of devices/chips by wet etching or plasma etching and its data analysis) with good hands-on experience in using different analytical techniques (e.g. SIMS, XPS, AES, SEM, FIB-SEM, TEM, AFM, etc.)

A full-time Research Assistant position in the team led by Assistant Professor Chua Wei Ling is available at the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies, National University of Singapore. As the Research Engineer (Equipment/Operations), you are directly involved in tool installation activities for semiconductor process tools. You would need to work proactively to coordinate with the contractor on the ground for the execution and take corrective and preventive actions of lessons learned, due diligently to prevent reoccurrence. You are responsible for performing utilities turn-on after installation is completed. You must perform the activities per ASTAR site procedure and safety policies to ensure all tool-install-related activities are completed, meeting safety, quality, schedule and budget requirements. You will also be required to perform other activities such as operations for the different semiconductor modules (Diffusion, Litho, Dry/Wet Etch, Thin Film, Implant, etc).

The Accounts Officer – Accounts Payable & Revenue Audit’s core responsibilities to support Accounts Executive in auditing day to day operations transactions, processing and timely payment of all hotel payments.

What will I be doing?

As the Accounts Officer – Accounts Payable & Revenue Audit, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Account for and audit all purchase orders, receive records and suppliers’ invoices (purchase invoices matching procedure).
• Ensure all invoices have proper supporting documents and authorization before processing payment.
• Prepare vouchers, including cost distributions and account codes for all suppliers’ invoices and credit memos.

Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Fellow position in the characterization of adaptive immunity against emerging highly pathogenic viruses, within the Infectious Diseases Translational Research Programme (ID TRP) at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The ID TRP is a 17-member programme comprising both basic scientists and clinician-scientists, enabling seamless translation of research. The programme has strong expertise in bacterial antibiotic resistance, multidrug resistance, and emerging viruses, covering areas such as epidemiology, molecular mechanisms, animal models, and therapeutic and prophylactic interventions. Other active areas of research include phage biology, pneumococcal infections, and microbiome studies. Appointments will initially be made on a yearly contract basis, with the possibility of extension.

Purpose of the post

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong passion for emerging viral diseases, who is eager to contribute to advancing our understanding of infectious disease threats in this region and to help strengthen preparations for future pandemics. As a Research Fellow (RF), you will play a pivotal role in the project, working closely with the Principal Investigator and the broader study team to ensure the project is completed on time and with high impact.

The primary responsibility of the RF will be to lead the project independently, while also collaborating closely with our regional study partners. You will be expected to design, execute, and oversee experiments, particularly in animal models, to investigate immune responses to emerging viral pathogens. This will involve conducting both humoral and cellular immunological assays, with a focus on understanding how the immune system responds to new and potentially dangerous viral threats.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immunology and virology, with expertise in studying immune responses—both humoral and cellular— to infectious diseases. You should be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the project, while also having the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse teams of researchers. Main Duties and Responsibilities

The RF will be responsible for:

• Designing and developing assays to assess humoral and cellular immune responses to infectious diseases.
