This project aims to advance the field of photon-modulated organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs), with a particular focus on photon-modulated electrochemical doping systems for flexible OECTs. This research is critical for advancing OECT-based circuits in bioelectronics, wearable electronics, and artificial neuromorphic electronics (e.g., optoelectronic synapses). A postdoctoral researcher is sought to contribute to this cutting-edge research, which lies at the intersection of organic semiconductors, materials science, and electrochemistry. We are currently recruiting a highly motivated Research Assistant/Associate in the team of Nanyang Assistant Professor Guan Xue Li. Our group is interested in understanding the roles of microbial lipids in human health and antimicrobial resistance. It is increasingly appreciated that microbial lipids play critical functions in modulation of human metabolic and immune health, as well as infection outcome and treatment responses. We employ an integrated systems biology approach, including development and application of lipidomics, to study the complex repertoire of bacterial lipids and aim to identify lipid metabolic networks which can be modulated for treatment of infections.

Job Description

The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT), National University of Singapore is looking for researchers and engineers to develop next generation quantum computers based on trapped ions. There are multiple positions available at different levels with a diverse set of expertise. This program is funded under the National Quantum Processor Initiative, a flagship program under the National Quantum Office Singapore. The aim of the program is to develop a full stack quantum processor based on Yb-Ba ions. This program brings together the unique capabilities of the existing ion trap groups in CQT expertizing on these two-ion species to explore scalability of the system.

The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of the development cycle: collaborate with other team members to define the technical requirements, design, manufacturing, testing and integration of the prototype into the control system.

Job Requirements

We are looking for several electrical engineers to join the small team of scientists and engineers working on the next generation of the ion trap quantum processor. The candidate should have:

• Bachelor or Master degree in electronics, electrical engineering or related fields;
• At least 1-2 years of experience in electronics design is preferred;
• Experience in programmable digital logic design using Verilog or VHDL, digital signal processing, and familiarity with control theory;
• Design and characterisation of low noise electronics for the analog front end, good understanding of the noise sources in electronic circuits;
• Design and implementation of the RF electronics circuits.

Duties:

• Start from the design, development, building and qualifying of various lab instruments, the major focus is in Sample Preparation equipment including our featured FastPrep family (homogenizer).

The Laboratory of Applied Human Genetics at the National Cancer Centre Singapore is a multi-disciplinary laboratory with specific focus on peritoneal malignancies and sarcoma. The direction of our laboratory is to solve real world clinical problems via sound scientific translation. Since the conception of our laboratory 7 years ago, we have now set up three scientific pillars of Therapeutics, Companion Diagnostic and CAPTIVATE (Target Generation) pipeline. Currently, we are working towards a first-in-human therapeutic developed in our laboratory. We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Fellow to work with a team of researchers in the area of cancer therapy for advanced metastatic cancers. Interested applicants should have an extensive molecular biology experience to uncover the MOA/structure of our therapeutic using cellular signaling, cell biology or protein structure approaches and possess the desire to translate basic science to make a clinical impact.
