We are looking for a full-time pre-doctoral student to work as a Research Associate on INSEAD’s Singapore campus. Responsibilities:

• Ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of period-end FA reports (e.g. Fixed Asset Stock-take report, Development Project-in-Progress (DPIP) report, and the Consolidated Fixed Asset Schedule) for management and statutory reporting and audit reviews. This includes reviewing of the asset count, performing FA reconciliation and investigating discrepancies (i.e. add, retire or rectify erroneous transactions reported by users via service requests or identified when reviewing expenditure)
• Review development expenditure to assess correct treatment of expenditures for asset capitalisation, before capitalising the assets.
• Maintain standards of excellence for FA processes by facilitating the learning of HTDs through conducting trainings, providing guidance on FA matters (i.e. ensure FA related SOPs are adhered to) and implementing process changes to strengthen governance and control.
• Participate in automation initiatives and process improvement projects (e.g. use of tools such as RPA bots or data analytics dashboards) to enhance work efficiency

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting
• Prior experience in Audit will be an advantage
• Prior experience in using SAP will be an advantage

Job description:

1. Assist Manager in working in, operating existing store

2. Assist store operations and inventory management, hiring and cost management

Skills needed:

3. Kitchen and service experience

Responsibilities:

Operational Duties

• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and routine inspections of mechanical and electrical installations
• Perform ad-hoc improvement work on mechanical and electrical installations
• Address tenant complaints, conduct investigations, and carry out necessary repairs
• Supervise and check contractors’ work

Administrative Duties

• Record plant operating conditions and utility meter consumption
• Document breakdowns and repair work
• Monitor spare part inventory and usage

Others

• Plan, train, and guide a team of Technical Officer ensuring they receive proper training to enhance their efficiency.
• Lead Technical Officers and contractors in executing work orders and maintenance requests
• Ensure daily operations are conducted efficiently and in an organized manner
• Assist senior engineers in system improvement proposals and provide recommendations to reduce system downtime
