d. Carry out research, design and advised on mechanically functioning plant and equipment such as machine tools, engines, heating, ventilating and refrigerating installations.

e. Prepare and generate the following reports:

· Consumable reports

· Utilities reports

· Expenditure reports

· Revenue reports

f. Provide technical advice to subordinates.

g. Study labour requirement, estimate cost of installations, operations, maintenance and repair.

h. Procurement of quotations and parts for repair/ replacement/ new installation works; check bill of quality and evaluate cost of quotation.

i. Co-ordination with contractors for renovation and new installation works, scope of works and quotation.

j. Plan and supervise construction installation, operation, maintenance and repair.

k. Check completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.

l. Anaylze situation and introduce improvement works, repair and rectification works to department store.

m. Compile and vet M&E drawings for renovations to ensure it complies to all M&E

regulations. Provide comments on renovation/ promotion counter drawings.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Housekeeper Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure that all guest rooms and public areas meet the exceptional standards expected of our brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring cleanliness and upholding the standards required for our rooms.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance to our standards and implement initiatives to enhance such standards.
• Assign Housekeeping staff with their respective schedules and ensure that their work follows the Resort’s standards and protocols.
• Responsible for enhancing our guests’ satisfaction by addressing and resolving guest complaints related to housekeeping services in a prompt and professional manner.
• Manage and maintain our housekeeping supplies, including hotel linen, cleaning supplies and other associated assets.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or professional certification in Hospitality / Hotel Management or an equivalent professional qualification in a related field.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a property of similar standing.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
