The Product Sales Specialist is a regional sales role that is part of the global Cash & Inside Sales team. The role deals with complex cash management requirements for the most demanding and sophisticated multi-national clients operating across Asia Pacific and Japan. This role is expected to develop and grow client relationships by understanding client needs and delivering solutions across the full range of cash management products and services that Citi can offer and will be a combination of event driven sales e.g. responding to large scale and/or complex regional tenders in the form of RFIs (Request for information), RFPs (Request for Proposals) and proactive sales e.g. targeted proactive engagement for key select acquisition names or defensive names for the firm. The key objective of the role is to increase penetration of the Bank’s TTS services within the existing regional client base as well as acquiring new clients for the Bank across CB / GNB client segments and is a driver in generating revenue through new TTS deals.

Responsibilities:

• Plays a leading role in setting and executing overall deal strategy for each deal, which includes solution structuring, pricing strategy and negotiation, marketing/pitching approach
• Responsible for coordinating internal deal processes e.g. obtaining internal approvals / sign-off, closing, handover to implementation
• The individual is accountable for delivering against client (i.e. deal wins) and acts as a center of expertise / excellence in cash management solutioning to support focused regional client opportunities
• Supports the firm’s effort in building profitable, long-term client relationships, orchestrating delivery of superior products and services to corporate clients adding value to their treasury processes
• Works with external stakeholders to fully understand and ensure that customers’ needs / asks are addressed through our responses and marketing materials

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience

• Should be an accomplished Product, Sales and Customer orientated person with ability to marry client needs and Citi’s product capabilities in order to develop customized solutioning to address client requirements

This role is an intermediate level position in Markets Treasury, responsible for overseeing the balance sheet and managing related risks, assisting in managing and decision taking in AFS and trading books. The overall objective of this role is to ensure liquidity, manage interest rate risk from balance sheet and cooperate with the team to deliver on budgeted revenues in line with all regulatory requirements and limits.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the balance sheet, liquidity, cash flow and interest rate risk of the bank by closely coordinating with different departments in the bank.
• Manage the banking risk position and RMH books within the permitted trading products - particularly fixed income and rates products - seize market opportunities, deliver to meet and exceed Profit and Loss (P/L) targets
• Understand the balance sheet structure and work with the team on investment decisions for bond portfolio and on execution
• Cooperate with Sales, Research and other teams across Markets and the broader business and exploring new business initiatives
• Review and manage the daily LCY and FCY balance sheets and cash flow and coordinate daily funding activity with the Trading Desk
• Ensure bank liquidity is in line with liquidity plans and limits, and ensure compliance with all local and global regulatory liquidity ratios and limits
• Assist with implementing the transfer pricing process and ensure it is transparent and in line with all the global policies
• Support the Desk Head/Country Treasurer with required deliverables and assist with preparing the monthly deck and regular call presentations
• Coordinate the daily and the monthly P/L estimate and calculation process with Finance and Product control, assist the team with system enhancement projects
• Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
