The focus will be on microalgae research and biomass fermentation, to produce high-quality, affordable, and sustainable microbial proteins from microalgae and biomass fermentation that can be further developed into cultured meat and plant-based protein hybrids. Microbial proteins will be cultivated through fermentation and processed using emerging bio-physical techniques for effective biotransformation, to improve digestibility, flavour, and nutritional profile. As a research assistant, you will assist with conducting and monitoring microalgal cultivation bioprocesses via analytical techniques to achieve maximal product titres, yields, and rates. The Opportunity

As part of the Finance & Accounts team, you will report to the Accountant – Finance & Accounting.

Your responsibilities will include the following: General Ledger

• Prepare and post entries for month end closing.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of stocks, clearing accounts and customer loyalty programs to the general ledger.
• Timely follow up with Operations to clear outstanding items.
• Assist in stock take and fixed asset sighting exercise.
• Assist in internal & external audits.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Diploma or professional qualification in Accounting, preferably 1 to 2 years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and meticulous with numbers and details oriented
• Great teammate with good interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the executive team's calendars, schedule appointments, and arrange meetings.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, including flight bookings, accommodation, and itinerary preparation.
• Prepare and organize materials for meetings, presentations, and conferences.
• Draft, review, and manage correspondence, reports, and documentation on behalf of the executive team.
• Handle day-to-day administrative functions, including filing, data entry, and document management.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an executive assistant or in a similar role preferably in a multinational organization.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.

• Receive and check accuracy of incoming goods upon arrival to warehouse storage facilities
• Perform administrative work relevant to warehousing (Such as recording, organising and storing goods)
• Perform stocktakes at regular intervals and ensure accuracy of Stock Quantity
