Overview

As IT Assistant, you will assist the Manager, Service Support in managing and maintaining key software systems, including erpbos® , ebos® , profit Software from Progress Group, Hubble Build Software & etc. Additionally, the candidate will assist the IT Technical Executive (Assistant / Senior) with various IT tasks and provide technical support to staff. Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain ERP systems (e rpbos® , ebos® , profit) from Progress Group.
• Administer Hubble Build software, ensuring smooth operation and integration with other systems.
• Perform regular updates, backups, and troubleshooting for all managed software.
• Ensure data integrity and security across all platforms.
• Assist the IT Technical Executive (Assistant / Senior) with daily tasks and projects.
• Provide technical support to staff, resolving hardware and software issues.
• Set up and configure new hardware and software as needed.
• Maintain IT inventory and ensure all equipment is up-to-date and functioning properly.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on the use of e rpbos® , ebos® , profit Software, Hubble Build Software & etc.
• Create and maintain user manuals and documentation.

Qualification Requirements:

• Perform product assembly, equipment and machine sub-module assembly according to specifications
• Generate require documentation from Bill of Materials (BOM) and assembly drawings
• Running simulations or conducting basic analyses to support design decisions.
• Assisting engineers in creating and updating technical drawings, schematics, and other design documents.
• Support and involvement in PD, NPI and MP phases
• Generate PFMEA, technical reports and perform Failure Analysis (FA) on products
• Hand on electrical hard wiring & components installation
• Conducting research on new technologies, materials, or manufacturing processes that could benefit the project.
• Maintaining organized records of design documents, test results, and other relevant paperwork.
• Liaising with other departments such as manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain to ensure smooth collaboration.

The successful candidate will receive a start-up research grant to undertake research of international excellence and contribute to knowledge exchange activities relative to their discipline. Qualifications

Candidates are required to have a PhD in a design related discipline, or one close to completion, with a strong track record in research, education, or professional engagements, and be able to advance the trajectory of the program.
