Gifted and Talented Program Coordinator

To provide and develop a gifted and talented programme that meets the diverse needs of GESS students. The coordinator will ensure an effective programme is developed and implemented that includes a curriculum, assessment and entrance requirements, educational plans for specific students, core program integration and after school learning opportunities, events, and student participation in competitions. The Singapore Population Health Studies (SPHS) is a population-based health research initiative at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore. SPHS aims to investigate the interactions between lifestyle, physiological, genetic and other omics biomarkers and their impact on health and longevity. In addition, SPHS will serve as a platform to monitor risk factors in the population and gain insight into determinants of health-related behaviours. For this purpose, SPHS includes over 50,000 adult Singaporeans and long-term residents from three major ethnic groups (Chinese, Malay, and Indian), for a better understanding of disease aetiology in urban Asian settings, and the development of improved preventive and therapeutic measures for Singapore and other Asian populations.

JOB PURPOSE
This role primarily involves the recruitment and data collection activities of the research projects under the SPHS unit that will contribute towards the building of a population health research biobank for Singapore.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Take consent from research participants before performing any research procedures
2. Perform basic assessments that include measurements of blood pressure and visual acuity, fundus photography etc. and enter data into the correct electronic form via a tablet. Keep to a turnaround time of 8-10min per participant.
3. Perform spirometry and keep to a turnaround time of 10-15min per participant.
4. Minimise the waiting of participants by directing them to next most available test station.
5. Encourage participants to perform procedures to meet the required standards to ensure that the data output is good to use for research.

Sales Manager Responsibilities

Membership

• Follow up with phone calls and emails with members on their request
• Perform daily membership administrative work.
• Conduct Club tour for new potential member.
• Updating membership database to the latest as per request.
• Explore potential businesses/opportunities for the department.
• Assisting Membership department in daily administrative work.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the Management.

Banquet

• Prepare proposal, confirmation and event orders as required.
• Conduct site inspections for existing and new clients.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports.
• To work alongside with Banquet team to ensure all arrangements are as per request.
• To handle customer dissatisfactions and follow-up on service recovery (where necessary).
• Express and display teamwork and good relations with co-workers and Management.

• Inspection of Meeting room prior to guest arrival, ensuring that client’s specification are met.
