The Landscape Supervisor manages daily maintenance including trash removal, removal of dead plants and area cleaning. He/She maintains sustainable methods of agriculture and organic farming. He/She reduces the negative impact on the environment through crop nutrition, soil and water management. He/She ensures manual workers can do their jobs in a safe environment. He/She manages the teams who keep public green areas neat and safe. He/She travels around the island to manage teams of workers who are pruning, clearing and planting. He/She ensures there is crane support when tree branches are obstructing traffic. He/She gets briefing on different tasks and spends most of the working day outdoors.
Responsibilities

1. Ensure work tasks are completed on time.
2. Handle client questions on the landscape project.
3. Identify symptoms, pests and diseases.
4. Improve growing conditions using proper nutrient fertilisers and soil mix.
5. Manage landscape maintenance works.
6. Organise work orders with the ground crew.
7. Plan and ensure safety regulations are followed.
8. Plan daily work schedule for the workforce.
9. Review of the plant health, soil, water and other environmental conditions.
10. Review sites according to the health and safety regulations.

Requirements

1. Diploma in Horticulture / Landscape Management or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Landscape Supervision or WSQ Diploma in Landscape Management
2. Independent individual with good organisation skills
3. Good Interpersonal skills
