Position Overview: We’re looking for an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will help grow our presence across hawker centers, restaurants, supermarkets, and other retail outlets in Singapore. You’ll be responsible for expanding our customer base, meeting sales targets, and supporting our mission to make Mr Popiah a household name.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and secure new business opportunities in various retail channels, including supermarkets, online platforms, and B2B clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed of trends, competitor activities, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client communications.
• Ensure timely delivery of products and handle any client inquiries or complaints.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the F&B or FMCG industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Singapore’s F&B landscape is a plus.

Job Requirements

• Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the waterproofing and/or renovation sector is preferred.
• Effective Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in English is required.
• Transportation: Must possess a valid driver's license and own a car for travel to client appointments.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Executive is responsible for driving new business development and expanding the company's client base. The role supports the sales targets, and identifies and qualifies leads and opportunities, manages the sales cycle, and nurtures relationships to drive sales growth and revenue.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Researching and identifying potential clients and key decision-makers within target industries.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through lead generation, cold calling, networking, and other sales activities.
• Qualifying leads based on predefined criteria and effectively communicating the value proposition of products or services.
• Assists in the end to end opportunity development efforts that best address customer requirements, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company resources.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and current clients, understanding their needs and presenting suitable solutions.
• Work closely with the teams to ensure that the solutions proposed align with client requirements.
• Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute lead generation strategies.
• Supports the end to end sales cycle within the assigned solutions and territory/ies.
• Maintaining accurate records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system.
• Following up with leads and prospects to schedule appointments, product demonstrations, or further discussions.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospects to move them through the sales funnel.

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE

• Must have at least three (3) years of experience in a similar position, working for an IT services and solutions company.
• Must have a proven track record in sales in a B2B industry.
• Experience in channel sales preferred.

Your Tasks:

• Maintain and grow business relations and opportunities with existing clients
• Execution of sales strategies and actionable plans
• Negotiate, conclude and administer new contracts and renew existing contract agreements, with guidance from the Sales Manager
• Support the Sales Manager in monitoring competition closely by regularly reviewing customer portfolios, market prices and services
• Maintain and update customer forecast and justify for any deviation
• Support the business feasibility study by working closely with internal departments on customer requirements
• Regional sales travel is expected

Your Profile:

• Diploma/Degree in any field
• Minimum 2 years of sales / commercial experience with the manufacturing, food industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent negotiating skills with strong customer focus
• Good technical knowledge in manufacturing, food industry (Knowledge in flour or flour related products will be advantages)
