• Monitor the requisitions generated from the vessel to ensure that they are submitted in a timely manner. Follow up with the Purchasing Department for delivery of ordered items on board.

• Liaise with the Insurance Manager (or Principals) in H&M claims handling. Provide technical input, and cost information, if required, for P&I claims (cargo and crew) and H&M claims.

Crewing

• Make performance evaluations of Masters/ Chief Engineers assigned to the vessel under supervision.
• Provide input to the Manning Department on recruitment of Senior Officers for the assigned vessels.

Dry Docking & Repairs

• Plan, manage, monitor and execute vessels repairs, dry dockings and conversions within agreed budgets.
• Arrange and follow up repairs and services.
• Coordinate with the assigned vessels and prepare the dry-docking specification in conjunction with Docking Superintendent, Fleet Services. Submit the specification to yards for quotations, evaluate the received quotations and present them to the Fleet Group Manager and/or Chief Operating Officer for review.
• Attend the dry-docking, discuss shipyard invoicing before presenting same to the Fleet Group Manager and/or Chief Operating Officer for approval.
• Prepare docking report.

Responsibilities Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Chinese Restaurant. Drive revenue, maximise profitability and minimize cost of the restaurant. Evaluate operations and procedures and suggest improvements to the Director of F&B. Purpose of Position

The Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for selling BSI products and services to new and existing customers across a defined BSI product suite. This role is responsible for identifying and managing sales opportunities, building an in-depth understanding of client business needs and drivers, to position how BSI products and services can enable organisations to improve and manage the sales process to a successful conclusion.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Sales Process

• Lead and support the BSI focus sectors based business growth.
• Establish network and relationship with the key/global accounts to nurture bigger business potential converted in the big closed won.
• Proactively network with existing customers to sell additional BSI products.
• Identify new prospects to grow the BSI customer base through targeted calls to generate sales revenue in line with new business targets.
• Execute BSI sales process to investigate, explore and understand customer needs in order to sell relevant products/services.
• Investigate relevant resource required and provide a timeline for delivery to meet customer order & solve any customer issues.
• Routinely review sales activity and quality KPIs, based on sales ratios to plan future sales activities to deliver on financial and activity targets.

Sales Tools

• Manage potential through account and opportunity management to develop solid pipeline. Produce accurate sales forecasts in a timely manner.
• Effective use of price book and tools to propose main products and services.
• Use relevant sales/product collateral to illustrate how a range of BSI products meet identified customer needs.
• Accurately and effectively applies standard, commoditized, T&Cs.
• Accurately record sales and order information in the CRM (Salesforce).

Product Knowledge

• Remain up to date with developments in the standards industry and be able explain the standards development process to customers.

Sales Skills

• Possess a deeper and wider knowledge of the products/services of BSI and their application to specific customer sets. Use reporting function of sales tools to aid account management and new business development.

• Accurately define requirements, including buying process, budget, positioning vs competition and actual circumstances which positively affect potential sales. Ability to identify further and future opportunities.

• Experience of running a commercial business unit, including P&L responsibility, preferably in commercial events / training / publishing or related

PURPOSE

Support the Head of Pricing in the pricing of life insurance products.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

• Develop actuarial pricing model for new or repriced products.
• Perform pricing financial assessment and sensitivity testing to support the Team in launching competitive products whilst ensuring compliance to internal policies, regulatory requirements and industry guidelines.
• Identify pricing risks and support Team Lead in developing solutions for alignment at the PMC.
• Collaborate with wider business (including product development, IT, risk & compliance, etc) to ensure timely end-to-end product development and implementation with good audit trail.
• Prepare internal (FWD local entities and FWD Group) and external product filing.
• Work closely with Appointed Actuary in proposing assumptions for new products and justifications.
• Pro-actively drive initiatives/projects to enhance overall pricing process efficiency and governance/controls.
• Support discussion and negotiation on reinsurance, together with Product team
• Assist in special quotations.
• Guide/lead junior pricing actuaries to ensure quality and timely deliverable.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Qualified actuary from a recognized professional actuarial body is preferred.
• Min 6 - 8 years of actuarial experience, with individual life product pricing experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY

• Strong knowledge on (i) Singapore RBC2 or similar regulatory framework, (ii) embedded value and (iii) IFRS17 would be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Life insurance products in the Singapore market would be an advantage.

• Job Responsibilities
  
  • Help manage the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Rooms & Suites.
  • Conducts daily briefings and attend meetings
  • Help provide management and supervision to the Housekeeping Rooms & Suites Team Members on all shifts

Provide strong risk governance, robust and balanced 2nd line challenge process for non-retail credit portfolios and to ensure business development within acceptable credit appetite and portfolio metrics.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with the first line by giving guidance on structuring credit facilities and regulatory requirements on credit policies.
• Provide recommendations for improving end-to-end credit process including guidance to business units through sharing sessions and transaction structuring alternatives to balance client and risk management requirements.
• Provide independent credit evaluation and make sound recommendations to improve asset quality while supporting business growth of the Bank.
• Manage the credit risk of the mid cap portfolio
• Exercise credit approval within own credit discretion
• Participate in various working groups / committees at Bank / industry / regulatory levels.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance / Business Administration / Economics or related discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant credit evaluation & approval experience - well versed in credit analysis and financial modelling.
• Extensive experience in the mid-corporate/commercial banking credit space, with a strong emphasis on term lending, working capital financing and derivative products.
