About the role
This is a full-time Sales Manager position based in the Pioneer West Region. The role involves managing sales and operations for marine and offshore spare parts, driving revenue growth, and supporting the company's continous expansion plans.
What you'll be doing:
- Oversee sales and operations for marine and offshore parts, including order management, inventory control, and ensuring excellent customer service.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales and operations executives to achieve team objectives and foster professional growth.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities while nurturing relationships with existing customers to achieve revenue targets.
- Provide technical expertise and advice to customers on product selection and applications.
- Work closely with the procurement team to ensure on-time delivery of parts and efficient supply chain operations.
- Maintain detailed records of sales, inventory, and customer activities, and generate insightful reports for management.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations team to achieve overall business goals.
What they're looking for:
- At least 2 years of experience in a sales or operations role within the marine or offshore industry, would be preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of spare parts and equipment is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and in a team environment.
