What do we expect from you?

Under the general guidelines of the Director of Sales, the Sales Manager solicits transient and group business that enables Mondrian Singapore Duxton to meet and/or exceed set revenue goals in rooms, events, meetings, conferences and food and beverage.

The Sales department is responsible for selling the hotel and providing a relationship-oriented atmosphere for the client, who would book business into the hotel. The Sales Manager will have a defined sales territory, market segment(s), account list and/or may partner in a job-sharing setting. Responsibilities

• Work closely with the sales team to generate local catering and meeting leads with close follow-up and monitoring of leads leading to conversion.
• Respond to telephone/online catering sales enquiries
• Build and maintain good client relationship and rapport
• Solicit new corporate clients through cold calling and sales visit
• Assist clients in professional event planning, packaging and menu selection
• Keep abreast of trends and developments in catering industry
• Actively brainstorming of creative ideas in improving catering services to clients
• Account for sales and profitability of event orders and ensure smooth operations of catering functions

Requirements

• Possess O Level / Diploma / Degree in Business, Marketing with at least 5 years of relevant experience in F & B industry will be an advantage
