Job Brief

HealthServe Clinic is an IPC registered charity which serves disadvantaged migrant workers through the provision of holistic services, including affordable medical and dental care. We are looking for someone who is keen to join us in our advocacy for a society where every migrant worker lives a life of health, well-being and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organise volunteers and interns for our clinic
• Oversee daily operations of the clinic
• Ensure a comfortable experience for patients who attend at our clinics
• Provide customer service including registration of patients, queue management, dispensing of medications, invoicing and collection of payment
• Support doctors for in clinic procedures and chaperones
• Perform clinical procedures such as simple dressing, ECG and nebuliser treatments
• Manage medication, consumables and equipment including replenishment and housekeeping
• Perform any other duties which may be assigned

Requirements

• Passion for care of migrant worker community
• Able to work independently and team player
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and work well with different stakeholders
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in managing clinic operations
• Familiarity with clinic operations and/or usage of UNO CMS an advantage
• Ability to commit at least 2 weekday nights and 1 weekend shift each week
• Strong engagement, operational and managerial skills in leading teams

Working Hours (approximately 40 - 44 hours per week)

• Medical Clinic Operating Hours: 2-3 weeknights: 6.00pm – 10.00pm and Sundays: 2.30pm - 6.00pm
• Non-Clinic Hours: 10.00am - 7.00pm on weekdays (there is flexibility these work hours outside of clinic operations)

Manage existing customers and develop new business

At least 3 years of working experience in related job

Can work well independently as well as in a team

Assist department manager to complete assigned work

• Deliver technical support to customers for UPS and DC Systems and Battery.
• Liaise with end-user on-site for Installation, Commission, repair/maintenance.
• Conduct training sessions for customers on the startup and operational procedures of UPS and DC Systems.
• Monitor maintenance contracts and ensure that work is conducted promptly and within the agreed timelines.
• Collaborate closely with customers and engineers to ensure that site work is conducted safely.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in UPS and DC Power environment.
• Able to travel Asia in short notice.

[What you will be working on]

The officer will be part of the team working to anchor a major wellness attraction in Singapore. Responsibilities include: 

• Work in team which drives the process for appointment of master developer for the wellness attraction. This includes concept evaluation and award.  

• To call for tender and lead the appointment of a business consultant to assess project viability.

• To be working closely with STB Legal and appointed external legal counsel on the contracts and documents needed to protect govt interest in the project.

• Serve as STB's key POC for the appointed developer (ie investor-facing OIC). 

Additionally, the officer might be involved to support other Wellness projects as they come on stream, including future editions of Wellness Festival Singapore. Responsibilities can include:

• Investment promotion of new wellness concepts for Singapore

• Facilitation of grant support to public and private stakeholders (existing or new projects)
