Job description:

Account Management & Development

• Be the lead point of contact for matters specific to the assigned sales accounts
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting with the sales account personnel
• Negotiate contracts and follow up towards closing of agreements
• Prioritize and plan the company’s work activities within customer project scope and timeline
• Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
• Constantly explore new business opportunities or offer new business ideas to customers to expand mutual growth
• Forecast and track customer account metrics (eg. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
• Ensure timely billings to customers

New Business Development

• Actively engage potential clients to update offerings, understand needs and acquire market intelligence
• Win new clients by closely following up on actions to client’s request, including quotations, proposals, bids, orders, contracts, and specifications
• Prepare and submit for selected public tenders.
• Coordinate with relevant teams within the company – project management, R&D, operations – to ensure timely and satisfactory responses to customers.
• Participate in trade shows and industry conferences to collect market intelligence and network with relevant industry players.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree holder
• At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, particularly in ICT system solution or system integration
• Account management experience in financial services, transit markets, and/or self-automated payment systems is a big advantage
• Strong interest in fast-paced technologies like Fintech, IoT
• Highly self-motivated, take initiatives to learn and to find out answers
• Background or knowledge in software and electronics/electrical engineering will be an added advantage
• Well organized and able to manage project timeline, deliverables

Responsibility:

Requirements:

The Role

We are in search of an exceptional leader to drive marketing for Veeva’s growing Asia business.

The VP Marketing is, in effect, the CMO for the Asia region, directing the full marketing mix, and a key member of Asia’s leadership team. The role helps drive regional growth, building upon the company’s strength in existing markets, as well as helping establish Veeva as a leader in new markets.

• 10+ years of Enterprise Software marketing experience - Managing the full marketing mix, not just demand gen
• Extensive on-the-ground experience in the North Asia tech markets (Japan, Korea, or China)
• Led the Asia marketing function for a U.S Tech company, including extensive experience in Japan, Korea or China
• Strong communication skills and background (verbal and written)
• Experience across marketing disciplines and enterprise selling in Asia, including ABM, communications, demand generation, first-party events, and product marketing
• Proven track record of hiring, mentoring, and retaining world-class marketing talent
• Demonstrated communications expertise with exceptional verbal communication skills and a clear and persuasive writing style
• Excellent operational and project management, including the ability to manage diverse projects and multiple priorities under aggressive timelines and expectations
