Job Responsibilities

• Actively promote our international project in assigned territory;
• The area of responsibility is Singapore;
• Develop and implement sales activities and hit the sales targets to achieve growth and expand presence in assigned territory;
• Sign-up new partners and provide them with extended training of our system;
• Initiate an API deals with the potential and existing partners;
• Build and maintain a strong, long-lasting relationship with new partners;
• Prepare, execute, and manage the commercial deals with the partners including the execution of required document flow and technical setup;
• Account clients until the first purchase is made;
• Control of compliance with commercial conditions by partners including the payment flow;
• Provide market & competitive environment analysis;
• Provide comprehensive reporting.

• Relevant experience. Ideally, 2-5 years experience in the travel industry and excellent knowledge of the country`s travel market; specialized in sales management or business development of B2B travel companies;
• Language knowledge. Fluent in English and Mandarin, other languages as a plus;
• Competence in API technology deals;
• Personal skills. Proactive, ambitious, motivated, action-oriented, results-focused, appetite for innovative technology, comfortable with fast-changing business environment, teamplayer;
• Analytical skills. Used to data-driven decision-making, metrics-driven and good with numbers;
• International mindset. Ability to understand and work across a wide range of cultural contexts reflecting ETG’s global presence;
• Readiness for business trips. 40 – 50% of working time might be required for market visits.

Project Lead ( Marketing Programs) Six Months Contract

We are looking for someone to drive our marketing programmes forward, lead change, and help foster a culture and community through strategic initiatives for our marketing teams working on technology clients.  

As a Project Lead, you will apply program management and business acumen with a dash of creative problem-solving--and bring thought leadership--to every key decision. You are a self-starter and natural collaborator, able to partner and learn from peers across the organisation and globe so that we can quickly and easily adapt at pace. And you’re motivated by the opportunity to make a deep impact through program management across global, regional, and local teams that maximise the impact of improved cross-functional collaboration.

Role: 

• Guide the teams across APAC through the new Marketing Development Framework [MDF].
• Be the Champion of the MDF within the APAC Regional and Local Teams, advocating in partnership with the ambassadors to ensure successful implementation. 
• Identify cross-functional gaps and build new processes, procedures, methods, tests, and/or components with the foresight to anticipate and address issues between the team's implementation of the MDF.
• Host cross-sessions between Regional and Local teams to gain cross-functional alignment on regional and local-specific subprocesses. 
• Be the first point of contact for the framework, provide training, and align with leaders on prioritising gaps in the framework.  
• Define stakeholder management between Global, Regional and Local teams for the program.
• Responsible for taking Global and Regional trainings and building Local versions to operationalise implementation.
• The main point of contact in ensuring regional and local teams provide feedback at the right time, including all surveys.   
• Identify and highlight opportunities to automate or utilise AI to streamline our work and our work cross-functionally across the marketing teams
• Manage parts of the program that are still ambiguous and involve cross-functional stakeholders by defining and streamlining new processes and organising tasks into clear goals and objectives.
• Exchange information and best practices with the Global Team and APAC to help maximise efficiency and reduce rework.

You:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 12  years experience in programme management, project management, and change management. 
• Strategic agility and long-term vision.
• Proactive, persuasive and a creative collaborator with a great sense of team spirit.
• Knowledge of implementing marketing programmes and strategic initiatives.
• Possesses long-term strategic thinking balanced with near-term execution skills; high aptitude with the ability to understand complex problems and distil them into a simple, meaningful and coherent story

• Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to cover projects across APAC.

Sales Administration Responsibilities

• Establish leads/partnerships and direct efforts to achieve Groups, Corporate, Leisure, M.I.C.E, Airline, Luxury Consortia room night goals based on market segmentation and budget and to develop ongoing relationships with the clients
• Monitor sales production and adjust sales activities, account coverage and sales priorities as necessary to achieve the planned goals
• Develop account qualifications criteria and use market research to identify priority markets and accounts , to assign sales to assure coverage to all major markets and segments
• Monitor weekly activity of Senior / Sales Managers and ensure sales team is maximizing the use of resources to penetrate new accounts
• Develop annual sales department budget and execute sales programs and activities

• Recruit, select train and motivate Sales department personnel to achieve sales goals
• Assure understanding of Job Descriptions, Goals, SOP of Sales Department personnel and conduct formal semi-annual evaluation and ongoing coaching and counseling
• Maintain established personnel policies and procedures of the hotels

Market Planning Responsibilities

• Participate in development and execution of hotel marketing plan to identify sources of group business to the hotel and establish solicitation programs to maximize sales
• Participate in development of marketing plan, sales action plan, profit plan, A&P budget and marketing audits
• Monitor forecast of all Groups, Corporate, Leisure, M.I.C.E, Airline, Luxury Consortia and identify valley periods of sales emphasis and achieve forecast

Communications Responsibilities

• Maintain close and open communication with other department heads
• Maintain timely communication with Corporate Sales Offices, STB that can generate leads and provide information
• Coordinate communication between Sales and Other Departments to assure awareness of bookings and sales programs
• Maintain  timely and responsive communication with accounts and prospects

Personal Account Servicing Responsibilities

• Joint service key accounts with Senior / Sales Managers  and ensure continuity in our communications with accounts

Inventory Management Responsibilities

• Monitor transient bookings in relation to room availability, room type and customer spending potential to maximize rooms and other revenue
• Ensure all corporate transient contracts are loaded and kept within a central file

Other Responsibilities

• Ensure that all safety , health, security and loss control policies and procedures and government legislation are adhered to
• Comply with hotel and department policies and procedures at all times
• To carry out other duties as and when assigned by the Management of the Hotel
