Catering Sales Executive

Overview

The Catering Sales Executive will contribute to generating new catering business leads and servicing existing contracts. It is the primary responsibility of the Catering Sales Executive to generate revenue by generating leads and converting them to appointments and sales with a heavy concentration in the wedding, corporate, local, and social markets.

This position will be responsible for contracting and closing wedding, corporate and social catering business. The Catering Sales Executive will offer personalized solutions for our clients and enhance our reputation and business by working with our Catering Operations Team to ensure we exceed our clientele’s expectations.

Responsible for assembly and completion of assigned event's file and organization of event details.

Creativity and passion are essential. Work is performed in an office and venue environment that is very fast paced. Requires the ability to multi-task and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate must be extremely organized, personable, and enthusiastic.

The Catering Senior Sales Executive represents the company at the event as well as to our clients and other business partners and as such will maintain the highest level of professionalism and customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

· Produces sales based on leads via incoming phone calls, email inquiries, or internal referrals with the purpose of converting that lead to a sale.

· Produces sales based on previous clients renewing annual events.

· Understands all details pertaining to the wedding, corporate, social, local, and small group market.

· Works directly with clients, wedding planners, and meeting planners gathering necessary information for menu planning, floor plan, room set up, timelines, rental orders, decor, cost and billing details and

any other requirements pertinent to their event in a timely manner and assist with those items as necessary.

· Greets client and assists Catering Head in conducting tastings, working in the best interest of Curate Kitchen

regarding flow of event, layout of food stations and design of menu befitting of company standards.

· Coordinates menus, staffing and implementation of all group F&B events: preparation and distribution

of specifications sheets on each function and catering schedule.

· Creates Event Orders for distribution for assigned events.

· Responsible for follow-up circulation and timely communication with proper departments.

· Is onsite for events to greet clients and ensure expectations are met

· Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.

· Proficient with social media/Networks.

Requirements:

· Strong knowledge of digital and social media marketing platforms.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong project management and organizational skills.

· Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.

Job Description:

• Promote the implementation of sales management policies and systems throughout the network and provide support
• Assist in completing the setting and decomposition of sales management indicators
• Monitor sales management indicators and assist in analyzing the causes of abnormal indicators
• Establish and improve the sales analysis and management evaluation methodology, and implement promotion training, and regularly analyze and output sales work reports based on the methodology, find problems, put forward improvement suggestions, and follow up the results
• Promote the implementation of the sales assessment and reward system for business promotion projects, and effectively motivate the performance of the sales team

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree is required, logistics management major is preferred
• Possess rich theoretical knowledge in data statistics and analysis
• 5 years and above experience in the transportation or logistics industry
• Strong data analysis skills

This is a 6 Months Contract role (Renewal Basis) Based in Singapore.

Business Management and Team Support (50%)

• Manage the business for the Asia Marketing team, proactively supporting the team together through important planning cycles, managing meeting rhythms and stakeholders, and collaboration across functions.
• Coordinate marketing newsletters, reporting on execution excellence and campaigns, creating presentation templates to enable teams to showcase their best work (quarterly marketing calendar and assets calendar)
• Support Asia PO hygiene, maintenance and tracking initiatives for the team.
• Work along with all marketing stakeholders to support team success with key regional projects.

Tools Project Management (50%)

• Be the ASIA Point of Contact for landing the Remap Tool.
• Ensure World Wide team understand Asia pain points, help on accelerating resolution of technical problems for Asia team, coordinate ad hoc training when needed
• Assessment - coordinating timeline, consolidating results and work with the Asia Marketing team members to ensure landing of marketing fundamentals through partners and constantly monitor the optimization to enhance the consumer journey.

Requirements

• At least 2 years experience in marketing projects management from an advertising/media agency or a project manager in a tech firm across more than 1 countries
• Well versed in Microsoft Technologies like Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), SharePoint, PowerPoint
