You don't need to have MICE experience to work with us. We're looking for ambitious, entrepreneurial self-starters with a strong sense of ownership, passion and curiosity, driven by our values of care, ownership, trust, passion and innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- A client-facing role that requires the candidate to be the key point of contact for our clients.
- Market and sell Singapore EXPO multi-purpose venue for exhibitions, conventions, seminars and other events.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring a positive customer experience, and promoting continuous business opportunity.
- Conduct regular sales presentations and site visits to clients.
- Ability to identify clients' needs and provide solutions to key clients.
- Understanding market trends, needs and identifying potential partners / sales channels and develop business plans to strategies for business collaboration by actively contacting potential partners to explore opportunities.
- Strong prospecting skills to identify and qualify new business opportunities in international markets.
- Business development to identified market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging network.
- Other adhoc tasks will be assigned from time to time by your reporting officer.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree with minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in Tourism and Hospitality, MICE, Corporate Sales and/or Events.
- Possesses a strong network of business contacts cultivated throughout your career.
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets through a results-oriented approach.
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills to build strong relationships with clients.
- Highly motivated and analytical and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- An independent and proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Requires occasional international travel.
- Able to work on weekend for events when required.
