Sales Assistant Manager Job Description

We are looking to employ a highly driven assistant sales manager to assist the sales manager with the day-to-day running of our store. The assistant sales manager’s responsibilities include developing strategies to improve sales, effectively handling customer complaints, and assisting with the recruitment of sales staff. • Handle customer inquiries to evaluate the specific application requirements.
• Develop customer proposals for equipment and application solutions. Scope of work will include matching of spare parts, outsourcing some accessories, costing and pricing.
• Engage with customers via phone calls and emails on a day-to-day basis to follow up on quotations and technical clarifications.
• Act as the single point of contact for technical and commercial clarification for customers, contractors, resellers and agents.
• Support the Customer Service Manager to track, analyse and generate reports.
• Execute contract review prior to order entry to ensure clean-order process.

• Assist the Order Administration team to create sales order, procurement, shipment and shipping information going back to the customer up to the point of delivery.
