Our client is a renowned and global maritime MNC with its global HQ based in Sgp (at Maple Tree Biz Park). The co has a flexi work arrangement and allows WFH 2 days in a week.
For this role, you support a global business that creates floating solutions for LNG to support progress towards a low-carbon society. This MNC is a global company with over 40 years of experience owning and operating LNG assets. The company owns a fleet of over 30 LNG carriers and Floating Storage and Regasification Units. The company strives to be a true long-term partner for responsible growth, delivering a positive impact for our customers, our communities, our planet, and ourselves, beyond providing competitive solutions for our clients' gas infrastructure and shipping needs.
An exciting opportunity with this MNC is now available to develop the LNG's business in Asia and Middle East with a focus on floating infrastructure and adjacent infrastructure. This role is open from Assistant Manager to Manager level.
Key responsibilities:
- Member of the Gas solutions team, based in Singapore.
- Actively participate in the development of the MNC’s LNG Asia and Middle East strategy for floating infrastructure (Gas Solutions) to support the overall strategy.
- Proactively build relationships in the industry and assist in the origination of new business opportunities in the Asia and Middle East region.
- Support marketing efforts across the team, including preparation of presentation materials.
- Coordinate the team's participation in tenders and bids, including preparation of client proposals and other such documentation. Take lead on selected opportunities.
- Maintain oversight over the Asian and Middle East markets, potential customers and potential / ongoing projects.
- Assist to develop a network of strategic partners in the region to support the execution of the firm's LNG strategy.
- Negotiate contracts.
- Actively participate and engage in the process for the continuous improvement of the firm's LNG procedures and processes.
Qualifications
- Experience/hard skills:
- Bachelor's degree is essential. Master's degree is desirable.
- Min of 3-6 years of business development/ marketing experience gained in the Oil & Gas industry or the maritime industry, preferably within the LNG/LPG industry
- Project management experience, preferably linked to infrastructure projects.
- Reasonable technical understanding to be able to present technical solutions to customers.
- Reasonable familiarity with gas supply markets and gas supply negotiations.
- Familiarity with FSU/FSRU contracts is desirable.
Commercial:
- Good knowledge of the LNG markets and ability to use this to identify opportunities (preferred but not a must)
- Proven commercial acumen and customer relationship skills.
- Good negotiation skills and an ability to close deals

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially across cultures.
- Enjoys problem-solving and takes a creative and solution-oriented approach when faced with ambiguity.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly.
- Strong customer focus and persistence to develop and build long-term relationships and business opportunities.

- Open to do the regional travel required (estimated to be around 20% of the time).
