Role & Responsibilities:
· Oversee a full spectrum of corporate secretarial duties and provide guidance and support to our corporate secretarial team.
· Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements by both the company and clients.
· Be appointed as a Corporate Secretary for the corporate secretarial clients.
· Be responsible for providing structured training for corporate secretarial team members by implementing training plans to eliminate knowledge gaps and ensure team members are up to date with key regulatory changes.
· Provide effective guidance to your team members for any complex client requests in order for the team to resolve the issues in the best possible and appropriate manner.
· Lead and mentor a team of corporate secretarial professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and professional development.
· Stay updated with the latest changes in corporate governance laws and regulations, adapting internal practices accordingly.
· Work closely with relevant stakeholders to achieve desired strategic outcomes including but not limited to ensure team members are carrying out tasks with efficiency, effectiveness and contributing to continuous improvements of processes and knowledge.
Job Requirements:
· Candidate must possess Degree/Diploma in Business Administration / Corporate Services / Legal Studies or equivalent.
· Holding or currently pursuing corporate secretarial qualifications (SAICSA) would be advantageous.
· Preferably more than 5 years relevant experience in corporate secretarial services.
· Deep knowledge of the Singapore Companies Act, Code of Corporate Governance, and AML/CFT requirements.
· Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team of corporate secretarial professionals.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
· Adaptable and open to changing work styles and priorities.
