PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The Business Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of Sembcorp Solar’s operations. This involves identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks in existing processes and then developing strategic plans to streamline operations. The role resides within the Business Excellence Unit and will work on cross-functional projects.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and implement processes to ensure that business functions work effectively.
- Support the business to effectively manage and resolve cross-functional issues.
- Monitor key performance indicators and develop analytical tools to track business improvement initiatives.
- Ensure that proper governance framework is adopted, implemented effectively, and streamlined across the business.
- Plan and execute initiatives to drive waste elimination and continuous improvement in business processes and operations. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure successful implementation of the initiatives.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to support operational issues.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business or a related field.
- Experience in leading business process improvement programs.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders from different departments.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems can be advantageous.
- Familiarity with specific industry trends and metrics relevant to the solar PV industry can be advantageous.
- Certified Lean Practitioners or familiarity with LEAN concepts can be advantageous.
