Key Responsibilities:
-Assist the General Manager in planning and coordinating production schedules to meet customer demands.
-Monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
-Ensure compliance with FSMS, SFA regulations and environmental policies.
-Supervise and train production staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
-Analyze production data and provide reports on performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
-Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational.
-Support quality assurance initiatives and troubleshoot production issues as they arise.
-Participate in budgeting and cost management to ensure financial targets are met.
-Contribute to continuous improvement projects, employing lean manufacturing principles.
-Assist in inventory management, ensuring adequate supply levels for uninterrupted production.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field complusory.
-3 years of experience in manufacturing or operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
-Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control.
-Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
-Proficient in data analysis and familiar with production management software.
-Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
-Knowledge with ISO 22000, HACCP will be advantageous.
