Job Description

• Overall responsible for daily project management and administration.
• Responsible for execution of project closure.
• Main liaison with client's lead consultant and steering committee.
• Coordinate with design team, quantity surveyor, external consultants, contractors, vendors in delivery of project.
• Meet potential clients with Business Development Manager to enquire and understand clients' need.
• Coordinate layout plan, M&E plan and visuals, prepare project schedule to clients and submit tenders for the project to clients.
• Work closely with project and construction teams and contractors to ensure timely delivery of projects and excellent quality of work done.
• Being the key to interface between the company and clients, obtain clients' feedback and resolve project related issues such as payments etc.
• Conduct and document all scheduled project meetings.
• Oversees quality and trade contractor performance through regular inspection.
• Maintain health & safety compliance on construction sites.
• Responsible for the contract execution and P&L account of the project.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management or related disciplines
• Candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate offices interior fit-out works with multi-national companies exposure will be considered for the Assistant Project Manager position; and Candidates with more than 5 years of experience will be considered for Project Manager position
• Able to read architectural & technical drawings thus translates to construction activities
• Good knowledge of statutory and safety regulations/requirements
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Familiar with computer software such as Microsoft, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
• Strong project planning, organizing, monitoring, supervising and controlling. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Highly independent, client oriented and team player

The Challenges:

• Lead the development and implementation of a sustainable patient education and research roadmap, community engagement framework and toolkit that would help enhance and elevate the branding and reputation of the Centre. This includes preparation and presentation of proposals for the approval of Senior Management and other relevant meeting platforms and ensure timely completion of all projects and reporting of outcomes.
• Drive strategic projects and initiatives pertaining to taking on a leadership role in building and sustaining new and existing community partnerships to drive activation within the Centre. Develop and implement a conducive framework and environment for individuals to take charge of their own health and to care for the health of others in the community through a well-developed patient education framework.
• Build and sustain community partnerships in the areas of training volunteers and co-creating a community of practice in driving health literacy efforts. Create the means, framework, platforms and environment for NHG residents to take charge of their own health and to go beyond self-care to serving the community.
• Create and build a vibrant marketplace by bringing together volunteers and partners from different organisations to network, share experiences and best practices and exchange ideas and bond with one another. This diversity allows NHG to have fresh perspectives for better decision making, risk management and a more robust corporate governance.
• Build communities of activated and health literate volunteers with shared interests. Ideas garnered from learning platforms could go towards research or to improve the framework in developing and sustaining a community of Patient Education Ambassadors.
• Identify and leverage potential funding programmes and partners as seed funding for implementation of pilot health literacy programmes.
• Identify appropriate research tools, partners and methodologies such as the adoption of validated tools and digital platforms, which enables the patients to assess their personal activation levels and equip them with the resources, knowledge and support to increase activation levels through experiential learning.
• Lead large scale community events and festivals within set budgets, standard operating protocols, funding mechanisms and pre-defined timelines.

What it takes:

• Degree in business, communications, social sciences, behavioural science, psychology, social anthropology or a related field will be an advantage
• At least five or more years of community engagement and/or research, preferably in the healthcare and/or social service sector. Must have prior experience in leading teams.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to lead and influence behaviours to get work done
  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines and manage projects independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with a keen eye for details
