About the Role and Company

• The role will be involved in works for FLO Aroma, an aromatherapy brand under the registered parent company. Works involved spans across mainly digital but also offline. Thus, allowing the role to be involved hands-on in a diversity of work.

JOB SUMMARY, PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contact Ship Owners to register on the online platform and advertise their vessels for sale.
• Contact Buyers to register and use the online platform to secure vessels for sale
• Marketing & Business Development of Online Platform to Ship Owners, Banks & Financial Institutions, Maritime Courts, Shipping Funds, Cash buyers , Ship Registrars, Escrow Agents, Surveyors and others.
• Vessel sale and purchase online and offline from securing buyers for vessels listed for sale online, arranging inspections, negotiating sales contract, drafting recap and sales forms, drafting sales documents, arranging and negotiating Escrow contract, closing and delivery of the vessel.
• Liaising with SNP Manager to secure new customers by developing marketing and business development strategies.
• Maintain Relationship with clients by arranging meetings along with Marketing & Sales Executive for business development.

JOB SPECIFICATION / REQUIREMENT / COMPETENCY

• Two (2) or more years as a Ship Sales & Purchase Broker.
• Good Network of Dry Bulk and Tanker vessel owners mandatory. Network of clients in other sectors like containers, OSV and other specialized vessels is beneficial.
• Good negotiation skills and knowledge of sale and purchase contracts and legal implications.
• Degree or Diploma in Maritime Business or Engineering beneficial but not compulsory.
• Knowledge and keen interest in E-Commerce
• Ethical, fair and of high integrity.
• In-depth knowledge of related markets ideally in a trading, broker, analytical or related function.
• Self-driven, results oriented with a positive outlook
• Natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance
• Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Sales:

• Identify and target GP clients within the assigned territory.
