• Highly motivated individual and ability to initiatives to achieve assigned tasks and company objectives;

• To gather market information (such as market trend, competitors’ information) and issues of the customers.

• To make sales forecast and capture sales progress on a timely basis

Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Associate position in the Department of Synthetic Biology Translational Research Program, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Appointments will be on a 1-year contract in the first instance, with the possibility of extension.

Purpose of the post

The Research Associate (RAssoc) will be working closely with the Principal Investigator and a team of researchers on bioprocessing and downstream process development. The RAssoc’s principal role will be to assist in method development and process optimization for research projects requiring bacterial and yeast fermentation as well as provide technical support and training to laboratory users.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Research Associate is expected to:

1. Design and execute fermentation experiments to optimize the production of target compounds/proteins.
2. Develop and scale-up bioprocesses for the cultivation of microbial strains (bacterial, conventional and non-conventional yeasts) from benchtop to pilot scale fermentation.
3. Conduct process optimization studies to improve fermentation performance, yield, and productivity.
4. Lead efforts in developing scalable downstream processes, including but not limited to filtration, chromatography, and other purification techniques.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of strain engineering to fermentation and downstream processes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Analyse data from fermentation and purification experiments, interpret results, and present findings to the team.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during fermentation or purification processes.
3. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMP) and safety guidelines.
4. Stay updated with the latest advancements in bioprocessing and downstream purification technologies and apply them to enhance processes and productivity.
5. Provide technical expertise and support to team members and contribute to the overall success of the group’s translational projects.

Qualifications

The applicant should:

• Masters in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully optimizing and scaling-up fermentation processes for the production of compounds/proteins.
• Expertise in downstream purification techniques, such as filtration, chromatography, and other purification techniques.
• Hands-on experience with various bioreactors, fermenters, and other bioprocessing equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols in bioprocessing.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in data analysis, statistical tools (JMP), and design of experiments (DoE) for process optimization is an advantage.
• Preferably have experience with process simulation and modelling.
• Be able to work both independently and in teams.
• Demonstrates an investigative nature and is attentive to details.
• Demonstrates an ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Drupal Operation Support Engineer, you will perform 1st level support to our Digital properties. You will handle accounts and access provisioning, provide timely update to stakeholders, custodians and escalate to different teams for different priority issues meeting Service Level Agreement and to follow through the issues till resolution. Taking ownership of the issues reported, diagnose, and look into solving problems efficiently and thoroughly and have a mind to recover the service soonest possible to the Business teams.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing review of the monitoring to look out for any abnormality or improvement and work with internal/external teams to resolve or enhance the proactive monitoring
• Enhancing and maintaining knowledge-based documentation covering troubleshooting and problem resolution steps
• Participate actively in standup meeting and to share impending issues and provide suggestion, correction/preventive measures to Technical teams to fix
• Contribute excellence in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment. Work with inter teams and vendors to support the Digital properties, manage the resolution of tasks/issues and improve the site infrastructure and resiliency
• Perform triage, identify root causes, corrective/preventive measures and provide workarounds or temporary solution to recover the service/site and be proactive of issues and configure and setup alerts where necessary to improve sites monitoring.

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/related fields or equivalent with at least 5 working years of experience in Drupal, PHP, JavaScript, and HTML skills
• Prior hands on experience on Drupal 8 and VueJS for at least 3 years
• Familiar with Drupal installations and competence with a wide range of web development technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSL T, JSP/Servlets) and frameworks (Drupal and Spring)
• Experience with a wide range of PHP content management systems, MVC frameworks, Jira and confluence, Linux - Command Line and Git, command line scripting experience with Perl or Bourne Shell or BASH, mySQL replication, backup, and query optimization, Cloud Architecture and CDN configurations
• Candidates with ongoing involvement in the larger Drupal community and knowledge with Site24x7, Splunk, New Relic, Opsgenie will be an advantage
• Knowledge of deploying on Acquia Drupal Environment and familiarity with CDNs, Memcached and Varnish

· Liaise with the relevant stakeholders (e.g. Sales Managers or Proposal Team) to obtain information required for the submission of Tender/Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFQ)

· Obtain the necessary approvals and ensure that proposals are submitted/received timely and compliant with the required mode of submission

· Track and follow up with stakeholders on the status of the proposal

· Prepare Bill of Materials and Costing for Tender/RFP/RFQ submission

· Participate in Tender/RFP/RFQ review meetings and site surveys when necessary;

· Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and emails and respond to customer’s sales enquiries

· Provide inputs to improve and support the bid and sales processes

· Perform any other duties assigned by superior

Requirements:

· Degree in Electrical, Electronic & Computer Engineering

· Min. 2 years of relevant experience in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) equivalent industry would be

· Familiar with tender/bid life cycle

· Good stakeholder management skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills

Your Role

Quality Assurance Specialist is to promote and integrate quality into every aspect of our BioReliance® biologics safety testing business in Singapore. The role is to perform batch record review (i.e. data audits) to support all aspects of quality operations to ensure that laboratory testing operates in full compliance with sound scientific practice, GxP and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The scope of responsibility is to contribute or impact the results of the QA team and is accountable for the quality of own work, solve problems of low complexity independently by identifying and selection solutions and by analyzing information.

The post holder will be able to perform the following functions independently, with minimal guidance.

• Batch record review: Conduct in-process or final audits and approval on manufacturing or testing documentation as they comply with the stated regulatory standards and the approved TS, protocol or SOPs.
• Batch record review: Release of the certificate of analysis for GMP testing against the TS and associated documentation.
• Batch record review: Prepare QA statement within each GLP final report specifying inspections date, and dates findings were reported to the Study Director and management.
• Review and approve deviations, anomalous results, OOS, positive results and CAPAs.
• Assist in investigations from events, complaints or data audits.
• Conduct trend analysis for deviations and review / approve applicable CAPA records.
• Assist self-inspections to ensure continuous improvement.
• Perform and support client audits, regulatory inspections.
• Perform and support internal audits.
• Perform and support supplier audits.
• Comply with Health and Safety Executive regulations and undergo relevant training modules when required and actively takes necessary action when encountering unsafe situations.
• Perform their duties according to the principles of Good Laboratory (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

This is contract role based in Singapore, Working location Central Singapore

The Sourcing Specialist plays a supportive role for the GSC (Global Supply Chain) Strategic Sourcing Managers. Their responsibilities include assisting with contract services procurement, contract execution, and supplier onboarding. Essentially, they extend the capabilities of the Global Supply Chain Sourcing Managers by providing tactical support in these areas

Supply Chain Management – Onboarding New Suppliers:

• Facilitate the onboarding process for new regional/site suppliers using company’s specific onboarding tool.
• Ensure supplier vendor codes are ready in the system before the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
• Applicable to all categories.

Contract Services Procurement – Various Categories:

• Conduct RFPs for multiple sites simultaneously.
• Evaluate commercial bids and ensure consistent scope understanding among bidders.
• Review contract documents for quality.
• Prepare the Award Recommendation Letter (ARL) for GSC and DCE.
• Coordinate contract routing for timely signatory.
• Relevant for indirect services only, particularly professional services.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of Indirect Sourcing (Procurement) experience is a must have. Contract management experience would be secondary.
• Well-versed in program / project management i.e. looking at cost, adhering to timelines etc. Proven track-record of managing high demands and high attention to detail given the nature of the role
• Cost management experience from a procurement perspective

JOB CONTENT:

1) Weekly management of the Customer backorder report with a turnaround time of 48 – 72 hours for a complete review.

2) Work and assist the Sales team in managing their Customer pre & post shipment.

3) Support and drive the requirements generated by Customer Bond Constraint Report related to fulfillment of bonded parts in their BIM program.(If applicable)

4) Escalate all their issues or challenges in fulfilling their assigned task to their CSS management in the most appropriate timeline to seek guidance on resolution.

5) Manage customer’s portal update and customized report if required.

6) Update customer production change requirement within Future System to optimize inventory planning.

7) Elevate any potential delivery shortfall to respective sales personnel for awareness and communication.

RECOMMENDED CREDENTIALS:

QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum requirements: GCE “O” Level or equivalent.

With minimum 2 years of Future & related industries experience, this individual is expected to complete their assigned task in meeting the department objectives & goals
