Role Overview:
The Digital Solutions Engineer (DSE) - NGINX Specialist is a sales and technical role with focus on customer/partners and is part of the sales organization. The DSE’s primary responsibility is to support the sales team with technical skills and provide technical knowledge around F5 NGINX solutions to our customers. To be effective, an DSE needs to have excellent technical skills with F5 NGINX and knowledge on both F5 NGINX products and the “eco-system” that we work in. Fear not, we do provide training and certification to keep abreast with these critical skills!
The high-level objective is to achieve the allocated sales target and selling relevant F5 solutions and products to our customers business needs, in partnership with the DTAM Account Manager. From our customer(s) perspective, the DSE is a trusted adviser who proactively learns and understands their technical and business challenges and can propose effective solutions to mitigate their concerns/offer gainful solutions. The F5 DSE not only presents the technical features but also business benefits in the Technical Value Proposition.

What you will do:
Articulate the F5 NGNIX product strategy.
Message and position F5 NGINX’s value proposition as well as solutions for customer’s business objectives.
Work with the regional Systems Engineering Directors (SED) to analyze regional business and market, define tactics and strategies.
Work as a part of a APCJ Solutions Engineering team to ensure corporate solution alignment.
Develop and communicate F5 NGINX’s value proposition to customers and partners.
Act as a trusted advisor to key F5 NGINX customers and partners during the design, build, deploy phases of their application and infrastructure projects.
Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, solution demonstrations, proof of concepts by various mediums – in-person/virtual presentations, white boards, blogs, videos, etc.
Speak at conferences, community meetups, F5 events such as industry events, workshops, road shows, partner and customer events from all industry sectors.
Contribute to press articles, interviews and promoting views on transformation of business through usage of AI and F5 technology.
Drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager, by identifying the Technical Decision Maker, getting their technical validation, support, and sponsorship.
Consistently provide world-class customer service through the customer’s journey with F5 NGINX.
Work collaboratively with all relevant internal resources, share best practices, updates, offer and seek expertise as the need arises in various opportunities.
Drive innovation by supporting new markets throughout APCJ.
What you will bring:
BS/BA or equivalent or 3 + years of related work experience
Experience in secure Cloud architectures, Modern and AI Applications
Experience with one or more public/private cloud vendors and automation toolsets
Experience with container orchestration solutions (eg: OpenShift, Kubernetes)
Proficient in one or more programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Golang, etc.)
Experience in presales as a systems engineer and end to end network and/or application solutions architect.
Excellent public presentation skills
Fluent in spoken and written English
Drive definition of end-to-end customer requirements
Create and facilitate technical sales presentations
Build and demo capabilities of F5 NGINX products for various use cases
Familiarity/experience with F5 NGINX or similar industry solution deployment a plus
Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence, Application Security, Application development is a plus

Responsibilities
Work as part of the SEO Philippines team, enforcing on crisis response within the Asia Pacific region while specifically representing the Philippines market.
Work as part of an On-call Operational structure to enforce on critical content within SEO Markets with a higher focus on Philippines.
Use a combination of language and market geopolitical knowledge, deep understanding of cultural, language nuances and minority communities, to capture signals and insights to enforce and solve for complex risk and operational issues within the region.
Scope scalable solutions to improve the support of our community of users, communities and advertisers in the Philippines market and in partnership with other regions.
Investigate and resolve issues that are reported on META products, such as requests for account support and reports of potentially abusive content including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other objectionable material. The content can be across organic, ads and commerce.
Support enforcement efforts on agnostic content that originates from multiple sources globally, where language expertise is not required.
Support enforcement efforts identifying integrity risks to our local and regional advertising business and enforce on these risks.
Support region wide programs of work supporting peak season buying initiatives, protecting advertisers, businesses and removing friction in the ad delivery process.
Analyze key metrics and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve our processes and tools. Build subject matter expertise around abuse areas prevalent in the region and work with the team on enforcement efforts to manage and control impact.
Investigate emerging risk across the region and influence cross functional resolution. Provide input and support on policy recommendations using geopolitical as well as operational understanding with XFN partners.
