Roles and Responsibilities:

1) Assisting teachers in Science labs / classroom

• Prepare materials before science lessons for P3 to P6
• Preparation of materials for practical tests
• Assisting teachers in the labs during Science lessons

2) Assist in the upkeep of equipment in Science Lab

- Assisting Teacher IC with:

• recording of loaning/breakage materials
• annual stocking taking of materials in the science lab

- Checking and clearing of unwanted or discard of faulty materials

- Maintenances of equipment by checking the workability of the equipment

- Liaising with vendors to ensure maintenance and checks on equipment are carried out

3) Maintenance of science lab.

• Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of the labs
• Changing of new displays in the display cabinets
• To disinfect Science Labs rooms as and when required

4) Any other administrative work related to maintenance and upkeep of Science Labs.

5) Assists General Officewith general administrative duties.

- Provide administrative support at General Office

- Provide customer service at the reception counter – attend to visitors including parents, staff, pupils and vendors.

• Answer phone calls within three rings, record phone messages and attend to walk-in enquiries
• Make phone calls e.g. helping sick pupils to call parents
• Attend to goods delivery and direct them to the appropriate locations
• Escort contractors
• Assist in logistics matters for e.g. packing of items, preparation of rooms for school functions; etc
• Shredding of documents
• To perform gate duties during school arrival and dismissal time and during time of heavy traffic

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The Applicant should have a minimum Diploma from a recognised institution. (Qualification in Science related areas would be beneficial)
• The Applicant should demonstrate knowledge and skills in handling common Lab equipment found in school labs. (eg. Microscope, dataloggers, etc.)

• clearing and cleaning of apparatus after practical lessons
• drying of apparatus after washing and ensuring apparatus are dried and return to proper storage
• filling up of empty distilled water
• filling up of diluted bench reagents on students’ benches
• cutting and dispensing fresh ingredients to students
• pouring/weighing chemicals in vials and dispense to students for practical/exam
• inventories checking
• labelling of vials and beakers for chemical/specimen
• maintenance of physics apparatus (placing in/removing batteries for electronic gadgets)
• Be ready in preparation room to assist when practical are in session (if necessary)

To help out in any duties assigned by HOD. This could involve the personnel being involved in the following

• Involved in GCE O level Science practical exam preparation and post practical exam washing/clearing up

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• GCE O level or equivalent
• 1 or more years of relevant work experience (i.e. as Assistant Laboratory Technician) preferred. This information shall be included in the Curriculum vitae.
• Pleasant personality and able to converse fluently in English.

Candidate must be fluent in mandarin and able to read and write in Chinese characters. Working environment : Chinese Language Enrichment Centre.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in administrative duties pertaining to student and course registration matters
• Provide professional service and advice in order to achieve customer satisfaction
• Assist customers with their enquires and concerns with a service oriented attitude
• Actively promote the centre's programmes to prospective customers in a professional manner
• Assist and follow-up with prospective or existing customers to promote new subjects and courses
• Work towards company sales targets and to maximise retention
• Handle customers enquiries, enrolment, payments and maintain accurate files for auditing in excel sheet
• Establish a good rapport and build relationships with both prospective and existing customers

Job Description

To teach Chinese language courses for Pre-school / Primary in accordance with centre’s curriculum.

· Plan and develop Chinese language curriculum materials which is in line with MOE’s latest syllabus

· Assist in centre events and activities.

· Communicate effectively with parents by providing regular updates on students.

· Perform educational research and editorial task

· Conducting lessons and training (Primary Chinese)

· Strong passion in Mandarin Language

· Be able to work in a fast-paced working environment

· Be able to work on weekends

Job Requirements

· At least a Diploma/Degree holder with at least 1-2 yrs of relevant working experience

· Good interpersonal and communication skills

· Competence in PC skills (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Zoom)

· Have an accurate pronunciation for spoken & written Mandarin (in order to facilitate teaching in Chinese Language)

· Possess experience in teaching local Primary School Chinese curriculum / Qualification in Chinese or Education studies
