Global Research offers fundamental, cross-asset, technical and quantitative analysis presented through multiple platforms and formats.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an ASEAN Equity Research Analyst.
Principal Responsibilities
Position Overview:
The Equity Research Analyst will work closely with senior analysts in ASEAN region, assist in analysing and covering ASEAN-listed companies and sectors. This role involves creating and maintaining detailed financial models, writing research reports, supporting the efforts of senior analysts and contributing to investment recommendations for our clients.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial models and valuation for ASEAN companies. Maintain and update financial database
- Conduct thorough industry and company research including analyzing financial statements, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors to support investment thesis
- Draft research reports, providing insights on financial performance, industry trends and investment ideas
- Track and interpret market news, economic developments and company-specific events, and provide actionable investment ideas
- Assist in preparing materials and presentations for client meetings, liaise company - client meetings and fulfil client requests
- Participate in earnings calls, investor conferences and company meetings, develop corporate and industry contacts
Qualifications
- Handling of Vietnamese speaking clients and documents in Vietnamese. Vietnamese language capability required
- Strong analytical, quantitative, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques and financial modelling
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English, proficiency in additional ASEAN language is a plus
- Team player, diligent, organised and inquisitive
To be considered for this role, the relevant rights to work in Singapore is required.
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
