The objective of the project is to create new peptide modalities that can be used for infectious disease and cancer.

• Carry out research for new peptide natural products discovery and development including recombinant protein expression, and production and extraction of natural products.
• Train undergraduate and graduate students.

Qualifications

Qualifications / Discipline:

Skills:

• Biochemical techniques: protein expression and purification, SDS-PAGE, size exclusion and affinity chromatography.

The Health Intervention and Policy Evaluation Research Centre (HIPER) (https://hiper.nus.edu.sg/) at the SSHSPH, NUS, is seeking to hire a highly organized and detail-oriented research assistant to support both administrative and financial functions within our research program.

This hybrid role will assist with a variety of administrative tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and communication, while also providing financial support in areas such as budget tracking, expense processing, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support:

• General Office Management:Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, and preparing meeting agendas.

Review and ensure that qualification / validation protocols and report are technically correct and in compliance with all applicable international guidelines and requirements. • Technical improvement execution. Execute analytical methods improvements and support methods development for additional product and/or process related characterization studies.
  Ensure that process technical batches generate sufficient analytical methods knowledge by thoroughly testing critical variables (e.g., DOE, QbD, PAT).
• Primary packaging closure assessment during changes. Drive the qualification and/or validation of primary packaging materials testing methods including the design of container suitability studies for the assigned product(s). Evaluate and ensure, in case of packaging change, that the primary packaging closure - including materials - are sufficient to ensure stability of the product and do not deteriorate quality.
• Assure consistency of Analytical Testing Procedures. Ensure that all critical and significant parameters are within written Instruction (e.g., Testing procedures, Validation Plan), sufficient and appropriate for the product. Derive in collaboration with the internal sites (QC team) / CDMO analytical team, the upper and lower control limits for each product analytical methods (where relevant), as part of the CPV program launch for all products
• Deviation, Out of Expectation, Out of Specification, complaint handling. Lead and/or support the GPS organization with all product and process related analytical investigations and deviations including complaints, Out of Expectation, Out of Specification, in partnership with internal / external site analytical teams. Use scientific and statistical knowledge to analyze data to provide process understanding, and to identify root causes of product and process failures.
• Annual Product Reviews and Product Quality Reviews. Be highly knowledgeable of product and process trends by providing input to Annual Product Reviews and Product Quality Review for analysis and for driving process technology innovations. Be a resource to other departments as Subject Matter Expert for the product and process knowledge.

Requirements

• BSc. In Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent scientific degree. Desirable MSc. or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience as QC/IPC laboratory scientist of pharmaceutical /chemical GMP environment, or analytical methods development scientist.
• Basic knowledge of current CPV / OPV product and process data analysis and monitoring tools and usage

About the Team

The Seed Foundation Machine Learning (ML) Systems team provides end-to-end (E2E) machine learning experience and machine learning resources for the company. The team builds heterogeneous ML training and inference systems based on GPU and AI chips and advances the state-of-the-art of ML systems technology to accelerate models such as stable diffusion and LLM.

The team is also responsible for research and development of hardware acceleration technologies for AI and cloud computing, via technologies such as distributed systems, compilers, HPC, and RDMA networking. The team is reinventing the ML infra for large scale language models. We have published papers at top tier conferences such as SIGCOMM, NSDI, EuroSys, OSDI, SOSP, MLSys, NeurIPS, etc.

Responsibilities:

- Optimizing large scale parallel training for state of the art deep learning algorithms such as large language models, multi-modality models, diffusion, reinforcement learning, etc

- Research and develop our machine learning systems, including accelerated computing architecture, management and monitoring

- Deploy the machine learning systems, distributed machine learning training and inference

- Manage cross-layer optimization of system and AI algorithms and hardware for machine learning (GPU, ASIC)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

- Bachelor or above degree in distributed, parallel computing principles and know the recent advances in computing, storage, networking, and hardware technologies;

The Seed Foundation Machine Learning (ML) Systems team provides end-to-end (E2E) machine learning experience and machine learning resources for the company. • Generate timely, and actionable bond investment ideas. Work with other members of the research team to evaluate a comprehensive range of bonds and bond funds
• Achieve and maintain a coverage list of bond issuers, and provide periodic research recommendations for bonds in the coverage list and newly issued bonds
• Communicate these investment ideas to the investing public and internal stakeholders through research reports, presentations, and other channels
• Contribute investment views and research in collaboration with the regional offices
• Contribute to the growth of the firm's fixed income business
• Undertake additional/ ad-hoc duties and projects assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor degree holder in a related discipline (accountancy, economic, finance or business administration), preferably with investment research experience
• Experience working with systems such as Bloomberg is desirable
• Good understanding of financial statements, bond mathematics, and macro drivers
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills, numerical capability, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills. Strong command of both spoken and written English. Mandarin speaking capability is a plus
• Demonstrated interest in and passion for investing
• Able to multi-task and meet constant deadlines

About the team

Machine Learning systems team provides E2E machine learning experience and machine learning resources for the company. The team builds heterogeneous ML training and inference systems based on GPU and AI chips and advances the state-of-the-art of ML systems technology to accelerate models such as stable diffusion and LLM. The team is also responsible for research and development of hardware acceleration technologies for AI and cloud computing, via technologies such as distributed systems, compilers, HPC, and RDMA networking. The team is reinventing the ML infra for large scale language models. We have published papers at top tier conferences such as SIGCOMM, NSDI, EuroSys, OSDI, SOSP, MLSys, NeurIPS, etc.

Responsibilities

- Research and develop our machine learning systems, including heterogeneous computing architecture, management, scheduling, and monitoring;

- Manage cross-layer optimisation of system and AI algorithms and hardware for machine learning (GPU, ASIC);

- Implement both general purpose training framework features and model specific optimisations (e.g. LLM, diffusions);

- Improve efficiency and stability for extremely large scale distributed training jobs;

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, engineering quantitative field with a background in distributed, parallel computing principles and know the recent advances in computing, storage, networking, and hardware technologies

2. Familiar with machine learning algorithms and platforms;

3. Have basic understanding of how GPU and/or ASIC works;

4. Expert in at least one or two programming languages in Linux environment: C/C++, CUDA, Python;

Preferred Qualifications

1. GPU based high performance computing, RDMA high performance network (NCCL, ibverbs); Tensorflow, Jax, PyTorch or other deep learning frameworks;

2. Large scale data processing and parallel computing;

3. Experiences in designing and operating large scale systems in cloud computing or machine learning;

• Responsible for developing and optimizing ion-implantation and rapid thermal anneal (RTA) processes to support IME's various program requirements.
• Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions and using test equipment or software to test faulty hardware parts, applying knowledge of the functional operation of the Ion implanter and RTA equipment.
• Collaborates closely with vendors to optimize equipment performance and reduce tool downtime.
• Setup and execute design of experiments (DOEs) at various dose, energy, tilt, and twist levels, and evaluate experimental data to meet required process specifications.
• Responsible for analyzing test data related to implant-related defect formation, and quantifying and minimizing defects.
• Champion process window characterization and evaluation to drive quality and yield improvement.
• Closely collaborate with process integration teams to implement technology roadmaps, define process capability requirements, and address structural implications and constraints related to ion-implantation and RTA processes.
• Work with fab team in establishing statistical process control for ion-implantation and RTA processes.
• Generate and present reports to both internal and external customers.
