The successful candidate will lead pre-clinical imaging efforts to validate novel imaging probes that target immune cell biomarkers. Job Requirements

• PhD in Immunology/Radiopharmaceutical Sciences or related disciplines
• Experience in multimodality imaging and image analysis (including PET, SPECT, CT and fluorescence) within the immuno-oncology domain is preferred
• Background in molecular biology, cell biology and oncology
• Experience in mouse studies (injection, anatomy, necropsy, pathology) is an advantage

The Signature Research Programme in Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) aims to pioneer the development and discovery of new and more effective methods for the treatment, prevention and control of new and emerging pathogens. Administrative Support:

• Primary packaging closure assessment during changes. Drive the qualification and/or validation of primary packaging materials testing methods including the design of container suitability studies for the assigned product(s). Evaluate and ensure, in case of packaging change, that the primary packaging closure - including materials - are sufficient to ensure stability of the product and do not deteriorate quality.
• Assure consistency of Analytical Testing Procedures. Ensure that all critical and significant parameters are within written Instruction (e.g., Testing procedures, Validation Plan), sufficient and appropriate for the product. Derive in collaboration with the internal sites (QC team) / CDMO analytical team, the upper and lower control limits for each product analytical methods (where relevant), as part of the CPV program launch for all products

Lead and/or support the GPS organization with all product and process related analytical investigations and deviations including complaints, Out of Expectation, Out of Specification, in partnership with internal / external site analytical teams. • Annual Product Reviews and Product Quality Reviews. Be highly knowledgeable of product and process trends by providing input to Annual Product Reviews and Product Quality Review for analysis and for driving process technology innovations. Be a resource to other departments as Subject Matter Expert for the product and process knowledge.

Requirements

• BSc. In Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent scientific degree. Desirable MSc. or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience as QC/IPC laboratory scientist of pharmaceutical /chemical GMP environment, or analytical methods development scientist.

About the Team

The Seed Foundation Machine Learning (ML) Systems team provides end-to-end (E2E) machine learning experience and machine learning resources for the company. The team builds heterogeneous ML training and inference systems based on GPU and AI chips and advances the state-of-the-art of ML systems technology to accelerate models such as stable diffusion and LLM.

The team is also responsible for research and development of hardware acceleration technologies for AI and cloud computing, via technologies such as distributed systems, compilers, HPC, and RDMA networking. The team is reinventing the ML infra for large scale language models. We have published papers at top tier conferences such as SIGCOMM, NSDI, EuroSys, OSDI, SOSP, MLSys, NeurIPS, etc.

Most of the world now live in cities. Liveable, sustainable and resilient cities are needed to face the looming challenges of climate change, the next pandemics, ageing populations and technological, social and economic disruptions such as what we are currently experiencing.

NUS Cities is a multi-disciplinary, open and inclusive collaborating platform comprising the following three pillars: education, research and advisory.

Education: Educate the next generation of students as well as current practitioners to take an urban systems approach to plan, govern, build and manage cities, using a strong case-based approach taught by both practitioners and academics.

Research: Taking a systems approach tacking some of our biggest urban challenges, and in the process, gradually developing a Science of Cities.

Advisory: Provide strategic advisory services to organisations and cities. NUS Cities will also partner other universities and research institutions locally and internationally, as well as with industry partners worldwide.

NUS Cities hence draws on the varied talent and expertise of the University in its colleges, faculties and departments and centres of excellence to drive research to better plan, manage, and govern, high-density, high-growth, sustainable, resilient, and liveable cities through an urban systems approach and systems thinking.

The full-time appointment for this Research Fellow position is for a contract period of 1 to 2 years with the possibility of renewal.

Responsibilities 

• Establish and manage large databases.
• Interpret and analyse data
• Generate reports and presentation of data to relevant stakeholders
• Generate conference presentations and papers for submission to peer reviewed journals
• Collaborate across teams, contributing to multiple research projects at once
• Work closely with research PIs to develop new research ideas and ensure the successful and timely completion of the project(s)

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree

Roles and Responsibilities:

• TCAD modeling, simulation, and innovative design of high power electronics devices, as well as device characterization.
• Develop and simulate high power SiC MOSFETs (planar, trench, Super-Junction MOSFET, IGBT) with a blocking voltage exceeding 1.2K using the industry-standard Synopsys/Silvaco simulator.
• Create and simulate practical & efficient junction terminations.
• Model transport and carrier scattering in devices operating under extreme ambient conditions.
• Serve as a valuable resource for colleagues with lesser TCAD power electronics experience and take lead in group projects with managing risks & resource requirements.
• Foster close collaborations with both internal and external customers to fully understand customer issues and requirements.

Job Requirements:

• PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• >2-3 years industrial experience for high power devices design and modeling.
• Thorough understanding of different types of high-voltage, high-power MOSFETs including Planar, Trench, Super-Junction MOSFETs, and IGBTs, with a focus on design and device characterizations.
