Research Group Overview: The Tissue Mimetics group at the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore (NUS) laboratory is primarily focused on developing next-generation tools for dental and craniofacial research. In particular, we focus on combining the expertise in stem cells, tissue engineering, microfluidics, organ-on-a-chip, 3D bioprinting, and non-invasive imaging to mimic various microphysiological features of tissues in health and diseased states and for translational regenerative applications.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly creative and self-motivated, full-time Research Fellow for a multi-disciplinary project on the fabrication of cardiac and vascular tissues using 3D bioprinting and microfluidic organ-on-chip strategies. The successful candidate will manage laboratory operations and work independently on a project involving advanced research techniques in biofabrication (3D bioprinting, microfluidics), 3D cell culture, molecular biology, 3D imaging, and image analysis. Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in developing the chassis and mechanical components for a state-of-the-art portable MRI system.
