In this highly visible role, the Asia-Pacific (APAC) Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance across Aurora’s business, with a focus on Aurora’s global commercial contracting and its APAC operations. Working with Aurora’s Legal Team, the APAC Legal Counsel will be involved in the full range of diverse commercial, corporate and compliance work dealt with by Aurora’s Legal Team. The successful candidate will be expected to build and maintain excellent relationships across the organisation, requiring confidence in managing relationships with people at senior levels. This along with the ability to work independently as the sole member of the Legal Team in the APAC region, have exceptional attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-moving environment are key. Key responsibilities

• Work with APAC offices (currently including Australia, Singapore, Japan and soon to include India) and international business units on legal issues relating to sales and operations, contracts, and general commercial business matters.

Reporting to Head of Wheat Research / Head of G&O South and SouthEastAsia (SSEA), this position assists in the generation of profit by providing traders with information pertaining to domestic and export commodity markets. This analytical role is responsible for maintenance, management and proactive update of information, and its synthesis/communication to the global team.

Main Responsibilities

1) Maintain and analyse all relevant data and provide input into trading strategy for SEA
