• As the deputy of Investment Management GM, contribute to the enhancement of consolidated earnings by coordinating autonomously from the perspective of both HQ investment management members and APAC corporate members.
• Examine regional investment proposals from the perspectives of strategy, profitability, feasibility, and risk management, and report to executives of global HQ and regional HQ, as well as provide guidance and support to the proposing divisions.
• Determine the appropriate process for internal applications that require prior internal approval, including investments, in accordance with internal regulations, and promote the process for setting up workflow systems for obtaining approvals.
• Assist the Regional CSO and Investment Management GM in developing business plans and managing budgets in accordance with the management policies of regional HQ.

• Assist Investment Management GM in implementing various measures. Develop and enhance the strategy, profitability, feasibility, risks and countermeasures of the investments. Contribute to the growth of earnings on a consolidated basis for APAC region, through effective monitoring of the project after investment.
• Provide maximum support to each APAC office and business division to properly apply for internal approval, including investments, in accordance with internal rules and regulations. Educate and disseminate internal regulations and appropriate procedures to all employees in APAC offices.
• When considering an investment, analyze the target company together with business division, and advise on way forward or backward in terms of strategy, profitability, risk/return, etc. Conduct valuations of target companies through various types of due diligence, and travel to India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, etc. to negotiate directly with the management of the target company.
• If a company deviates downward from its business plan, assist in the recovery of its business performance. For example, visit investee companies in India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, etc., visualize the problems, formulate actions to solve them, and promote the actions together with the management of the investee companies.
• Check the effectiveness of internal controls in subsidiaries and affiliates and make improvements as necessary.
• Provide appropriate advice to business division based on both strategies of global HQ and regional HQ.
• More than 15 years of experience in business investment, M&A, Post Merger Integration (PMI), and business turnaround in Japan, Europe, US and Asian countries. Possesses sophisticated financial analysis and modeling skills, accurate documentation and proposal preparation skills, and strong negotiation and communication skills.
• High familiarity with accounting and corporate finance in Japan, Europe, US and Asian countries.
• Experience in investment risk management and support operations, and experience in secondment to an affiliated company as CFO or director
• Experience working for a major Japanese conglomerate. Role requires communication with Japanese speaking client, advanced and fluent Japanese language skills (both speaking and writing) is a must.

The selected candidate will be integrated into the Operations team at Dymon Asia, where they will engage in a variety of critical day-to-day tasks that are fundamental to the smooth operation of the fund, particularly within the Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange asset classes. Responsibilities

• Managing the entire spectrum of trade lifecycle events within FX and Fixed Income products encompassing confirmations, settlements, and various portfolio position activities like corporate actions, maturities, expiries, and fixings.
• Conducting reconciliations of trade and positional data across internal systems, broker statements, and the fund administrator's system.
• Producing reports for internal stakeholders, including the Front Office and Management.
• Providing prompt responses and resolutions to inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.

Experience, Requirements & Skills

• Business or Finance degree preferred.
