Job Summary

The regional marketing manager is responsible for the development of strategic marketing plans for the assigned business units in CASAJ region. This role will also be responsible for implementing global marketing campaigns within the CASAJ region. The role requires strong collaboration between internal stakeholders as well as key opinion leaders to develop and execute product launches. This individual will have responsibility for managing all aspects of marketing including new product launches, advertising, promotions, sales meetings, trade shows, clinical events and educational symposia. As Language Manager for the Vietnamese speaking market, you will be involved in ensuring that we deliver a great user experience to our international audience through high quality translations. As we work closely with team members in remote offices and regional stakeholders, it is very important that the candidate be comfortable working with remote teams across different time zones.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, editing and/or translating high visibility UI content and high priority long form content of Meta family of apps and other core experiences in English-to-Vietnamese

Minimum Qualifications

• Vietnamese language is required to communicate efficiently with our translation vendor teams, cross-functional teams, and occasionally, with our end-users in Vietnam.
• 3+ years of experience in English-to-Vietnamese translation, product UI localization, linguistic reviews and translation quality management is required for monitoring the Vietnamese translation quality for all our products, and making appropriate decisions for necessary changes to improve it.
• Experience in creating and/or maintaining linguistic assets for Vietnamese translation (e.g. terminology, style guides etc.) is required for being able to guide our translation vendor teams and reviewers in ensuring consistency, accuracy and appropriateness of Vietnamese translation on the Meta family of apps.
• Knowledge of Vietnamese culture, society and current trends is required to ensure that the tone and style of our Vietnamese translation is appropriate for millions of our end-users who are in vietnam.

• Interview, select, coach, train, instruct, manage, and appraise the performance of associated Sales team members and mentor associates as appropriate.

• Work with the Sales Leadership to ensure that the Sales function is adequately resourced and trained to deliver an efficient service to internal and external customers.

• Actively promote and lead the use of Company System tools within own team through continuous development, integration, and effective deployment. Identify opportunities for standard work and implement them as appropriate.

CHANNEL MANAGEMENT

• Monitor a sales team of professionals in the region.

• Monitoring existing relationships with re-sellers & dealers.

• Monitoring sales performance within the channel partner network.

• Meeting quarterly and annual plans.

• Developing and building strategic relationships within the channel.

• Perform every other tasks as assigned.

Key Requirements

• Degree in technical or business. MBA will be an added advantage.

• At least 15 years of extensive sales and marketing experience with proven, successful track record during that time.

• Has an experience in managing a team of sales professional, preferably across SEA region.

• Strong technical background, preferably with an expertise from one of the following areas – paint/textile/automotive & print

• packaging. A qualification in color critical matters would be appreciated.

• Proved ability to build long term effective relationships with all kinds of business partners (distributors, dealers, key accounts, end-users, opinion makers) as well as the proven ability to manage and develop those.

• Excellent negotiations and communication skills, including public speeches, presentations, face-to-face communication.

• Result oriented, open-minded, pro-active, stress-resistant, and analytical thinking with distinct planning and organizational skills.

• Able to manage a commercial team of sales professionals and a is a good team leader. Also work independently with only general guidance.

• Global mindset and readiness to travel extensively.

• Fluent English in spoken as well as written form.

• Good computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, desirably also Adobe products)
