• Creation of SIEM custom detection rules to identify suspicious cyber threats or anomaly activities.
• Experience in responding to security events, including front-line analysis and escalation, on hacktivist, cybercrime, and APT activity.
• Support cyber incident response plan/lifecycle to ensure proper assessment, containment, mitigation and documentation.
• Reviews incident data and provide root cause analysis and recommendations on how to prevent future occurrences
• Identify coverage and efficiency gaps in IR runbook, security data and response tooling.
• Be on standby rotation, responding to high severity incidents escalated by cyber security operations analysts.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

• Degree/Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in cyber security operations or SOC environment.
• Proven and hands on experience in area of SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, data leakage prevention (DLP) and SOAR.
• Strong knowledge of various automated security control systems, encryption, message authentication, vulnerability assessment, threat intelligence intrusion detection, penetration testing and incident response.
• Good knowledge in Incident response lifecycle, different Operating Systems, TCP/IP networking and application layers.
• Professional security related qualification (e.g. SANS GCIA, GSEC, GCIH) will be favourable although not mandatory

• Lead, plan and manage assigned projects within the business group, in accordance with organizational and project goals, such as budget, timelines and quality, to ensure successful achievement of project objectives and deliverables.

• Act as the single point of contact for entire scope of activities for the designated account in the areas of Cyber Security System and Services, system infrastructure, implementation, network architecture, security polies enhancement, security patching and risk mitigation, security incidents/audits and as well operation support and system maintenance

• Plan, coordinate and prepare implementation strategies to meet key project milestones such as delivery, tests and payment milestones.

• Managing integration of various Cyber Security System components of the project including hardware, software installation, testing, business process review, redesign, application compatibility testing, data migration and data conversion etc. Familiar with Cloud System Project and implementation, Cyber Forensic software / package is an advantage.

• Create project specifications, schedules, planning, execution, operation as well as securing of resource requirements.

• Overall coordination and management of cyber security related projects through its whole project lifecycle and ensure that projects are delivered on time and fully

mee to the customer requirement and compliance to security standards and

policy.

• Provide progress updates on assigned tasks for all projects in the weekly project meetings as well as technical guidance on operating procedures and new projects.

• Ensure that projects performed are compliance with Government Cybersecurity standard and to adhere to industry practice ISO quality standards and project management’s model.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication), Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.

• At least 3 years of experience (as project manager or technical project manager) and proficient in project management (Cloud System Environment) with proven track record of completing multi-million dollar IT projects from contract award to system commissioning within a technically complex and demanding environment.

• At least 3 years of IT outsourcing experience with proven ability to work in large groups and managing multiple projects. Project Management experience in Government IT Services Management is an added advantage.
