RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is for Office of Admissions and Financial Assistance (OAFA).

Main liaison officer for Games-Based Assessment (GBA)

• The staff will assist to work with the vendor to plan and run the games-based assessment (GBA).
• There will be 4 different launch plans for the GBA to cater to different groups of prospective students.
  • Early admissions students to do GBA in January
  • Scholars students to do GBA in March
  • Discovery Day student to do GBA in April
  • Regular admission students to do GBA in April

Handle admissions matters for Computer Science programme and Software Engineering programme.

• The staff will handle the admission matters for the Computer Science programme and Software Engineering programme. This includes:
  • Reviewing each application individually to verify the authenticity and accuracy of applicants' high school results and other relevant details.
  • Setting up and hosting virtual Zoom sessions for CS and SE faculty members to conduct applicant interviews.
  • Ensuring applicants attempt the tests set by SCIS before their interviews.
  • Contacting applicants to inform them of their scholarships outcomes.
  • Contacting applicants to inform them of their interview dates/times.
  • Handling applicants' requests to change programme / appeal their admissions decision.

Post admission surveys

Students and parents of students who accepted or rejected SMU admission offers will be invited to do surveys from June to July. To manage the following:

• To update survey questions
• Send survey links and reminders to students and parents
• Manage student helpers making calls to ensure the survey participation percentages reach 75% or higher.
• Work with Qlik Sense team to ensure survey results are ported timely and accurately to the Qlik Sense Survey Analytics dashboard.

To support key outreach events such as the Schools' Learning Journeys to SMU, school fairs or booths in Junior Colleges and Polytechnics, SMU Poly Day, Scholarship Showcase, SMU IB Day and other signature admissions events.

Job Purpose:

The psychologist is expected to provide a full range of evidence-based and best practices in psychological services to students including conduct psychological assessments, deliver interventions and manage crisis situations. The Senior Director IT is responsible for establishing and maintaining the information security program to ensure that information assets and associated technology, applications, systems, infrastructure and processes are adequately protected in the digital ecosystem in which we operate. Description

Establish Governance and Build Knowledge

• Facilitate an information security governance structure through the implementation of a hierarchical governance program, including the formation of an information security steering committee or advisory board.
• Provide regular reporting on the current status of the information security program to enterprise risk teams and senior business leaders
• Work with the vendor management office to ensure that information security requirements are included in contracts by liaising with vendor management and procurement organizations.
• Create and manage a targeted information security awareness training program for all employees, contractors and approved system users, and establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of this security training program for the different audiences.
• Understand and interact with related disciplines through committees to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems and services, including privacy, risk management, compliance and business continuity management.

Develop the Frameworks

• Develop and enhance an up-to-date information security management framework based on one of the following: International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 2700X, ITIL, ENISA, ISA-62443, COBIT/Risk IT and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework.
• Create and manage a unified and flexible control framework to integrate and normalize the wide variety and ever-changing requirements resulting from global laws, standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain a document framework of continuously up-to-date information security policies, standards and guidelines. Oversee the approval and publication of these information security policies and practices.
• Create a framework for roles and responsibilities with regard to information ownership, classification, accountability and protection of information assets.

Operational Execution

• Coordinate, measure and report on the technical aspects of security management.

• Maintain a knowledgebase comprising a technical reference library, security advisories and alerts, information on security trends and practices, and laws and regulations.

Qualifications

Experiences

• A minimum of ten years of IT experience, with seven years in an information security role and at least five years in a managerial capacity is required.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

• Manage and coordinate daily Front of the House and Heart of the House operations with right delegation
• Long Term planning to create initiatives that furthers the outlet overall goal
• Assessing and analysing outlet budgets to find ways to minimize expenses optimize profits
• Identifying potential problems and points of friction and working to find solutions in order to maximize efficiency and revenue
• Identifying of opportunities to expand or shift course in order to take advantage of changes in the market
• Monitor the reservation status and communicate with culinary team
• Plan and control manning to meet business needs and according to budget
• Work with Talent & Culture to recruit suitable colleagues
• Control outsource labour supply, casual labour and overtime
• Communicate with team during daily briefings and conduct monthly department meetingsEnsure regular training and re-training when needed
• Maintain service, standards and procedures for the outlet and to ensure that they are achieved and followed by
• Ensure hygiene and food safety compliance in the outlet and related areas
• Lead the F&B team to personalize the guest dining experience and ensure the compliance of LQA standards and delivery of Service Promise
• Lead a Heartist® approach to guest experience/service with the F&B team
• Provide immediate attention to guest complaints and provide appropriate service recovery. To follow up and to establish correct procedures to prevent future recurrence
• Work closely with the culinary team to maintain food quality and to create attractive food products that support the image of the outlet/hotel and incremental business volume
• Regular review of guest comments/VOG with the team and implement right solutions for continuous improvement
• Focus on the dining experience for LCAH members
• Implement, monitor, train and maintain control measures to impact food costs, beverage costs, labour costs and operating supply costs for the outlet and to be in line of budget
• Plan, implement and measure profit enhancement programmes constantly in the areas of menu engineering, profit contribution, revenue generation, productivity, pricing and costing for products used in the outlet
• Interpret financial reports: create and implement plans or promotion to improve profits for the outlet
• Compile financial data and use the data to coach the service team how to use suggestive selling to improve the overall financial performance
• Provide necessary training and guidance to F&B team and to ensure that the highest possible standards and quality of products and services offering in the premise
• Recruit, develop and retain F&B team who are competent and confident to exceed guest expectations and create successful business
• Support the F&B team to be consistent in service, use a collaborative, enabling leadership style, have regular team meeting
• Drive consistent service and process improvement, be entrepreneurial
• Use the performance review process to identify and develop talent for growth management performance issues, using a coaching styles
• Interface the needs/requirements of other departments with the F&B Service : Laundry, Property Maintenance, Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Front Office, Security, Finance, T&C and Culinary
• Provide a level of Safety & Security for all colleagues
• Develop own knowledge and skills to grow as a business partner and leader

Qualifications:

• 5 years in F&B management experience, minimum 3 year as Outlet Manager,
• Experience in similar size/style of 5* hotel
• Diploma / degree in Hospitality Management
• Knowledge in financial and marketing area
• Leadership / People management
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work under pressure and independently
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with guests and all levels of employees
• Service oriented with an eye for details
• Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office-Words & Excel
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills

10 years experience in Singapore MRT / Tunnel projects and PUB Pro Design of Low voltage Electrical system. Knowledge and Experience in interfacing Electrical system with other systems in MRT/Tunnel Projects.

Having 5 years experience in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programming . Siemens PLC, Mitsubishi PLC, Allen Bradley PLC and Schneider PLC programming experience

Minimum 3 years experience in Safety Integrity Level (SIL2) software programming (PLC) based on IEC 61508 standard

Attend Technical /Project meeting , Site coordination , technical document preparation , liasing with customer and consultant

Degree/ Advanced Diploma holder in Electrical / Control Engineering.
