JOB SUMMARY

• The Senior Manager, Corporate Coverage is responsible for reporting, analytics & business performance of the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Corporate client franchise.
• Execution of this role will require a deep understanding of SCB Financial Reporting & Business Intelligence systems coupled with a strong understanding of P&L and Balance sheet drivers of a banking business. The role also requires familiarity with how clients procure & utilise banking products throughout their life cycle.
• This role will also have support & delivery responsibilities for Management Information (MI) and actionable insight regarding, and not limited to, Cross Sell, Sub-Optimal RWA, Leverage, Client on/offboarding, wallet share capture & analysis, and client advisory.

• Link the business plan to the overall business strategy and scorecard metrics and ensure full visibility and transparency on performance across all metrics.
• Partner with senior leaders to drive and deliver on performance management reporting and analytics through high-quality executive ready decks

• Support the CFO Corporate Coverage in setting broader team priorities and initiatives, adopting an ‘agile’ approach to book of work management and prioritization, tracking team commitments and deliverables towards the collective goals.
• Build Awareness and understanding of bank’s data architecture and collaborate with relevant Digital MI teams to solve for analytics requirements.

Job Description

• Act as a Finance Business Partner to the designated Research Centre/ Institutes within the cluster and provide strategic support to its management and budget holders by proactively monitoring financial activities and financial reporting specific to the Institutes, and clearly communicating results of the analyses.

• Oversee grant claim statements preparation and timely submission to funding agencies, including liaison with auditors and fulfilment of audit requirements, and prompt response to queries for a smooth and timely audit fieldwork.
• Work collaboratively with the Institutes’ stakeholders and central shared services teams during financial year-end closing and grants’ closing activities to ensure all legitimate transactions are properly recorded and all financial reports are accurately prepared.

• Ensure compliance with related tax filing matters including GST, withholding tax and taxable benefits for personal claims.
• Timely perform Risk Control Matrix (RCM) testing and address anomalies to mitigate financial risks, and ensure certification sign-off by Institute’s HOA before the financial year’s closing deadline.
• Liaise with internal auditors on all internal audit matters, where required.
• Coordinate and oversee the annual fixed assets verification exercise of the designated Institutes. Work collaboratively with Institutes’ stakeholders to ensure compliance with the verification procedures and maintain accurate records of fixed assets.

Leadership

• Influence leadership to integrate safety into all operational aspects and promote a strong safety culture across every level. Design innovative safety programs that ensure participation from frontline workers, and coach supervisors and managers to embody these values in their daily operations.
• Build and provide supportive tools for Supervisors and Team Leaders, helping them enhance operational efficiency and performance in their day-to-day activities.
• Collaborate with HSSE, Operations, Engineering, and Commercial teams, as well as contractors, security, regulators, and emergency services personnel, to prioritize and address safety issues effectively.
• Maintain an active presence across project locations by conducting regular walk-arounds and assessments to identify HSSE risks requiring intervention or control. Lead investigations into Serious Incidents or High Potential events, create action plans, and communicate findings to prevent recurrence.
• Embed HSSE procedures and systems to ensure compliance with legislative and company standards, regularly assessing adherence to global HSSE standards.
• Monitor contractor and third-party activities, especially high-risk work, to eliminate or mitigate hazards that threaten health, safety, or the environment.
• Provide independent HSSE performance reports, highlighting risks and successes, and keep senior leadership informed on critical developments.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in a senior HSSE role, preferably within the ports, terminals, or heavy industry sector.
• Demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive cultural change.
• Proven experience in implementing HSSE management systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering clear and concise messages to various stakeholders.
• Strong internal customer relationship skills, maintaining credibility and trust.
• Must be willing to travel extensively and be prepared for deployment to various countries for 3-6 months, depending on operational requirements.
• Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working in different APAC countries and familiarity with local safety regulations and cultural considerations.
• Multilingual skills are a plus, particularly proficiency in languages commonly spoken in APAC.

· Take primary responsibility for the customer and act as internal customer owner within assigned accounts.

· Manage and grow relationships to drive expansion and renewals across all solutions and services.

· Responsible for customer solution penetration and education, account monitoring and portfolio reporting, and issue resolution ownership.

· Management of periodical vendors’ joint sales opportunities and sales referrals to bridge with Head of Sales for effective sales follow-up with prospective customers in identified industries/regions among Telin Singapore Sales team.

· Maintain a pipeline of leads and achieve sales targets defined by the management in accordance to company’s overall business direction.

· Create comprehensive customer business plans and engage in complex deal negotiation to build a stable, growing pipeline of current and future business opportunities.

· Engage in complex deal structuring and negotiation efforts designed to protect existing business and win new deals.

· Lead business negotiations for contracts ensuring deals are risk-free and profitable.

· Align with key stakeholders for Agreements for joint Go-to-market process including, legal, marketing and finance function for formalized resales, brokerage, and sales incentives structures.

· Customer retention and expansion.

· Minimize churn and maximize retention in assigned accounts.

· Actively search for expansion opportunities.

• Bachelor’s degree in any disciplines, preferably in computer science, IT, Telecommunication, Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
• 5-10 yrs of relevant enterprise sales experience.
• Need to demonstrate an impressive track record of enterprise sales.
• Proof of structuring large, multi-year profitable contracts.
• Demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with customers across all levels.
• Strong experience in networking with senior internal and external people in the specialist area of expertise.
• Experience in managing the entire sales process, contracting process, and legal implications of a deal
• Strong business acumen and negotiation skills to craft solutions that are beneficial to company and customers.
