Senior Business Development Manager – Institutional (Singapore)

As Senior Business Development Manager (Institutional) for Convera in Singapore, you will be responsible for selling FX payment, hedging products and API solutions to institutional clients (Alternative Investment Funds – AIF). You will be responsible for the end-to-end process of bringing in new clients, from lead generation to closing and maintaining the client relationship.

You will be responsible for:

• Approaching Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) on behalf of the company to attract new clients

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This role will be a part of a team critical in the Energy Transition journey from brown to green.

7. To manage the review of contracts and leases from equipment and service providers, office premises and accommodation providers, etc. for Singapore office.

9. To handle and support visa applications and administration work

10. To assist and report to Manager, to provide necessary support in collaborating with the Administration team of all Group company offices.

Requirements:

• At least 2-5 years working experience in administration role

• Work independently as well as team player

• The role requires to coordinate and support counterpart in China and Hong Kong

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client stakeholders, build relationships, and deepen client accounts to assist in ongoing business development.
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects.
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress. Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.

Requirements:

• Must have both marine and construction working experience.
• Must have experience in handling full projects and managing client relationships.
• Marine construction-related working experience is preferred.
• Possess a Certificate of Project Manager Safety Course is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, etc. Knowledge in SketchUp is a plus.
• Strong capability in client management and team/people management. High emotional intelligence to manage and work effectively with workers and divers from different nationalities and backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
