• Design, implement and conduct writing and oral presentation courses for undergraduates and postgraduates.
• Teach discipline-specific writing to upper classmen.
• Create relevant online activities to enhance writing and presentation skills.
• Monitoring and Assessment
• Design and administer tests and other assessment tools for internal purposes.
• Prepare examination or assessment papers for external assessment.
• Provide meaningful and timely feedback to students during consultation and conference sessions.
• Professional Development
• Identify and attend relevant professional development courses/programmes.
• Foster the transfer of knowledge and experience amongst colleagues through the sharing of expertise and knowledge.
• Drive teaching innovation.
• Administrative Duties
• Investigate and assess collusion and plagiarism cases and make recommendations to Head, CEC.
• Invigilate Exemption Tests.
• Conduct standardization meetings.
• Act as a mentor for other TFs.
• Assume the role and responsibilities of course co-ordinator for CEC courses.

• PhD or M.A. (English Language) and/or other relevant qualifications.
• 3 to 5 years experience in teaching writing and/or oral communication at university level.
• Expertise in designing courses, creating curricular materials and effective assessments for university students is a necessary skill.
• Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to interact effectively with faculty, staff and students.

Job Expectations

Collaborate closely with the Assistant Manager to provide courteous and efficient services to guests. Responsively and tactfully address guest complaints, requests, and inquiries.

Maintain close communication with Concierge, Reception, Bell Counter, and Front Office Cashier regarding guest arrivals and departures.

Build connections with in-house guests and those on extended stays, offering assistance as needed.

Conduct courtesy calls to guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.

Stay well-informed and updated on all tourist-related information.

Manage and maintain stock of promotional materials for daily operations.

Approach any additional tasks assigned by superiors diligently and professionally.

Requirements

Minimum completion of PSLE or its equivalent.

Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.

Positive attitude with an outgoing personality and good communication skills.

Job Scope:

• Responsible for the enhancement of Digital Enablement & Transformation (DET) in the organization, in particular software applications used by clinic end users and patients, eg: Next Generation Electronic Medical Record (NGEMR), Electronic Queue Management System (eQMS), mobile applications such as Health Hub etc
• Represent the department in end users in User Acceptance Tests (UAT), End-to-End Testing (E2E) to ensure the interoperability of interdependent IT systems
