Qualifications:

Degree in any related engineering/science field from a recognized university

Candidates with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with more than 15 years of experience in the petrochemical industry working in fixed equipment or inspection related areas

Knowledge of materials selection, Non-Destructive Examination techniques, welding, and risk-based inspection procedures, would be an advantage

Familiarity with major API codes and specially API 650 for tankage will be an added advantage

Knowledge and ability to use computer programs such as MS Office, etc.

As a Test Engineer, your primary purpose is to drive quality, yield, and productivity improvements. You will manage the new product release to manufacturing and address any problems affecting the smooth operation of parts. Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of the Instrument & Control ITP inspection and test in compliance with rules and Tai Power requirement.
• Ensuring that the deliverables from engineering, fabrication, and principal contractors are of the right quality, according to company and industry requirements
• Supporting engineering design review and provide feedback from basic design, details design up to shop drawings such as SCADA, CCTV, Helideck weather monitoring, ESD, telecommunication, F&G
• Interpreting, implementing, and documenting the overall control philosophy across the wind farm components
• Preparing Instrument & Control equipment technical spec and RFQ for supporting procurement team during quotation sourcing
• Participate in preparation and review of Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) of the wind farm offshore substations (OSS) and commissioning procedure.
• Involving in EC/MC completion test package preparation to ensure construction completion handed over as per sequence and schedule
• Perform a daily supervision of the installation and commissioning
• Attending daily call out inspection and work closely with shipyard construction team, QA and commissioning team
• Involving in wind farm OSS final acceptance test / Proof Concept test procedure preparation.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for wind farm OSS equipment
• Involving in O&M procedure preparation and conducting OSS maintenance execution during operation.
• In association with the Maintenance Systems group, review and update the technical content of the preventive maintenance procedures and to recommend changes where improvements in safety, quality or economy may be effected
• Contributing to the continuous development of new technologies to improve the performance and usability of our wind farm control systems

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering or its equivalent

As an Ecolab Process engineer, the primary responsibility revolves around implementing tailored chemical treatment solutions for clients in the refinery and chemical process industry. This entails not only delivering effective treatments but also providing value-added services and managing projects aimed at reducing the Total Cost of Operation (TCO) for the clients. Additionally, the application engineer should be readily available to address any troubleshooting or queries related to Ecolab’s services and products. Given that refineries and chemical plants operate 24/7, the application engineer shall be committed to assisting clients even beyond regular office hours when necessary.

• Leading Chemical Treatment Programs: Take charge of implementing chemical treatment programs at the client’s site. Focus is on ensuring optimal performance and promptly addressing any deviations from the treatment plan.
• Reporting and Communication: Provide regular chemical treatment program reports to clients, keeping them informed about progress and updates according to the agreed schedule.
• Inventory and Equipment Management: Managing chemical inventory is essential. Oversee stock levels and equipment replacement parts program to ensure timely replenishment to support seamless operations.
• Monthly Reviews: Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly review materials to clients. These reviews serve as a valuable platform for discussing program effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.
• Analytical Field Testing: On-site field testing is a crucial aspect of the role. Conduct rigorous analytical tests to identify and rectify any off-specification issues within the chemical treatment program.
• Proposal Development: Collaborating closely with managers, contribute to the development of chemical treatment proposals. These proposals aim to enhance efficiency and address specific client needs. Participate in new application start-ups and evaluations.
• Value-Added Projects: Actively source and develop value-added projects in collaboration with clients. These projects are designed to reduce the Total Cost of Operation (TCO) with Ecolab’s product.
• Client Relationship Management: Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients is paramount. Frequent engagement ensures effective communication and mutual understanding.
• Subcontractor performance Management: Qualify, coordinate and monitor subcontractor’s performance delivery to enable seamless flow and delivery to end customer’s expectation.
• Troubleshooting and Collaboration: When clients encounter challenges related to chemical treatment programs or Ecolab’s products, step in to troubleshoot and collaborate with team members to find solutions.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering, coupled with relevant industry or technical experience is preferred.
• Industry Comfort: The successful candidate should feel at ease supporting clients within the petrochemical industry.
