Outbound Call Associate

• Proactive contact and engage customers to gather critical information through survey activities

• Meet and achieve the individual and company’s key performance indicators

• Acquire a strong knowledge of the products and services, culture and processes

• Provide quality customer service and prompt follow-up to customers over the phone and/or email

• Listen to customers’ needs, probe to redirect to the intent of the question and offer alternative solution

• Resolve customer queries efficiently and escalate issues promptly

• Submit regular reports to Team Lead and propose new ideas and strategies to improve work performance

• Other duties as assigned by Team Lead and/or Branch Head

Requirements

• Diploma / NITEC / GCE ‘O' Level or equivalent
• Minimum C5 for English O level
• Preferably with 1 to 2 years of working experience in call centre environment and/or service related industry


Special Knowledge or Skills:
• Pleasant disposition with good communication skills
• Fluency in a second language
• Computer literate and good typing skills

Job Overview:
As a Senior Piping Engineer, you will lead and oversee all aspects of piping projects, ensuring precision in design and seamless execution. This position requires close coordination with multiple engineering disciplines, making it ideal for a seasoned engineer with a passion for leadership and technical excellence. Your role will be instrumental in steering projects toward success while mentoring junior engineers and driving improvements within the piping department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the creation and refinement of piping layouts, material take-offs (MTOs), and 3D model evaluations for intricate piping systems.
• Analyse stress and vibration data, offering technical expertise and recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive project progress.
• Oversee technical specifications, support standards, and material selection to meet project requirements.
• Conduct regular progress assessments and provide strategic recommendations for project alignment.
• Offer technical guidance during construction and installation phases to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting a culture of quality and efficiency in design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 12 years of experience in piping design, stress evaluation, and construction engineering support, including 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D modelling tools (e.g., Navisworks or SPR).
• Strong technical knowledge of piping stress/vibration analysis, material selection, and system design.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide and motivate multidisciplinary teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed designs and documentation for the implementation of building projects, lead and delegate tasks within a workgroup.
• Preparation of calculations required for the design of engineering projects.
• Preparation of specifications, proposals, and other tender documentation.
• Use initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise at a competent level.
• Act as a technical expert to mentor and develop other structural engineers within the team, and provide structural design expertise in overseeing all technical aspects of projects.
• Liaison with clients, sub-consultants, contractors, and communicate clearly with colleagues and managers.

What can you bring to the team?

• Recognised Civil & Structural Engineering qualification (Bachelor / Master’s degree).
• Minimum 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in an engineering consultancy environment.
• Proven proficiency and experience in civil / structural engineering design and analysis on building projects in Singapore.
• Solid experience in reinforced concrete, post tension concrete and structural steelwork design. Seismic design experience is advantageous.
• Sound understanding and application of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices.
• Strong client focus, excellent communication skills, teamwork, and self-motivation.
