Responsibilities:

• Design, build and deploy high performance web applications and APIs
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Write high-quality code with unit, functional and end-to-end tests
• Perform architectural/technical design, technical prototyping, development, and reviews
• Communicate and negotiate technical solutions and architectural designs with diverse stakeholders
• Lead technical work and integration efforts across teams and products
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
• Provide technical mentorship to junior staff in the team.
• Perform occasional travel to remote sites to assist the support engineer in troubleshooting, or to accompany the product manager as a pre-sales engineer

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in modern web apps using JavaScript/Java/python or relevant experience in a software development team where the product goes into production
• Be a team player with good communication skills
• Demonstrate ability in full stack deployment of web applications
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful API design
• Experience in the software development using agile SCRUM
• Experience in the following web application framework software / solution stack:

o Java Spring Boot

o ReactJS (knowledge of VueJS would be considered a bonus)

o Python

o Shell scripting

• Experience in the following would be a bonus:

o Git/Github, Elasticsearch, and Kibana

o Experience with threat hunting, Snort, and Arkime domains

o RHEL hardening expertise

o Networking skills, including configuring switches as network brokers

o Docker containers, development of CI/CD pipeline

o Designing and implementing microservices architecture

Job Scope:

• Support Level 1 & Service tasks
• Ensure customer satisfaction in maintenance and support
• Analyse, Troubleshoot, solve assigned tickets by the Team lead.
• Formalize corrective action plans or local workaround within the SLA
• Solve or escalate the analysis to the Level 2 support
• Communicate regularly to keep the customer informed on the progress
• Maintain components of IT infra and backend, including Hardware and Software
• Replacements of Hardware/Endpoint equipment when faulty.
• Perform site administration activities – Regular health checks on endpoints, Regular restart of services, monthly report submission.
• Perform Preventive maintenance of servers and wide range of endpoint devices.
• Backup and Restore – Database backups, logs housekeeping, Image backup of endpoint, workstation, servers etc.,
• Perform OS Patching, Anti-virus update, security patching.
• Assist in Change/Service request deployment and testing.

Job Description:

• Installation/configuration of OS and applications including in house applications
• Installation /configuration of accessories, peripherals and mobile devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop incidents
• Handle printer problems at users’ desktops
• Perform workstation OS patching and Anti-virus patching for workstations which could not be patched via server push-downs
• Assist in providing technical information and knowledge
• Procurement of IT desktop/laptop equipment and update of Assets
• Manage Delivery/shifting /Install PC and Printers to locations

Job Requirement:

• Good knowledge of MS Office tools installation & troubleshooting and Printer support
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory and SCCM
• Excellent customer service and people skills
• Field experience supporting a variety of technologies and services
• Solid troubleshooting skills on Windows operating systems
• Willing to work at Changi/Loyang area
