• Provide necessary sketches and guidance to piping designers or drafting team and verify that Piping requirements are reflected in the design. Ensure output is completed on time, on budget, and exceeding quality standards
• Assists in preparation of datasheets and checking of piping material take off.
• Assists in design reviews and participate in other discipline reviews if required. Ensures incorporation of all Piping-related review comments. Detailed review of drawings for scope and presentation, including checking for technical accuracy and adherence to company standards
• Adheres to and complies with engineering procedures and standards and provides constructive feedback for continuous improvement. Identifies potential applications for new processes and technologies to improve productivity and efficiency
• Ensures effective communication and interface between all disciplines for design and development.
• Participates in internal audits and investigations as required.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships internally. Engages with inter-discipline community and promotes networking and knowledge sharing.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent engineering specialisation from an accredited university
• 5+ years professional engineering in the related field AutoCAD, Caesar II & Navisworks familiarity.
• Excellent technical communication (oral and written) skills with proven ability to present technical issues to design teams and project engineering teams.
• Self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision, make sound decisions, take independent action, analyse problems, and provide focused solutions to assigned projects.
• Possess strong inter-personal and communication skills and be able to work well with people at all levels.

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Electronics Engineering with minimum 5-10 years of experience in embedded software development
• Demonstrated experience in development of PLCs and/or Bus Couplers and/or IO modules for industrial automation applications
• Should have delivered at least 3 products from inception to release with quality
• Hands-on experience in developing prototype and design validation techniques
• Demonstrated programming experience with C and/or C++
• Experience in developing applications on VxWorks
• Hands-on experience with communication protocols (Modbus, EtherNet/IP, CAN, Serial)
• Experienced in solving complex system problems with systematic troubleshooting skills
• Preferred if the candidate has worked on PLC with CoDeSys environment

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves working closely with project managers, engineering teams, and other departments to ensure successful project delivery. The Project Engineer will be involved in project planning, technical review, and site coordination, providing essential support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Coordination:Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business goals.
  Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and work plans, using project management tools to track progress and ensure timely completion.
  Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment on project milestones and deliverables.
  
• Technical Support and Design Review:Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure engineering quality and compliance.
  Provide technical input to the design process, working closely with design teams to address any engineering challenges.
  Support project manager in evaluating design changes, assessing their impact on project schedules and budgets.
  
• Site Coordination and Quality Control:Conduct site visits as needed to monitor project progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure materials and equipment meet quality requirements and project specifications.
  Assist in conducting quality control inspections, ensuring that installations align with engineering and regulatory standards.
  
• Documentation and Reporting:Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and technical documents.
  Provide regular updates to project managers on project progress, potential risks, and any adjustments needed to stay on track.
  Support procurement activities by reviewing material specifications and participating in vendor evaluations as necessary.
  

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or a related field).
• 3-5 years of experience in a project engineering role, preferably in [specific industry, e.g., oil and gas, construction, manufacturing].
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes relevant to engineering projects.

Minimum Requirement:

L1 Support Requirement

(a) Minimum one (1) year of DESKTOP Support, ICT End User Computing or Service Desk Agent experience;

(b) Ability to perform the daily DESKTOP Support operations with minimum supervision;

(c) Possess technical skills in supporting existing and new computing devices such as desktops,notebooks and mobile devices;

(d) Possess knowledge in IT networking and LAN to troubleshoot computer problems; and

(e) Possess at least one (1) of the following certifications:

 Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA) Win7/Win8 or equivalent;

 (ii) Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in any discipline or equivalent; or

 (iii) CompTIA A+ 220-801/ 220-802, CompTIA PDI+ or equivalent.

L2 Support Requirement

(a) Minimum three (3) years of DESKTOP Support, ICT End User Computing or Service Desk Agent

experience with networking and system administration background;

(b) Ability to resolve incident escalated by Level 1 DESKTOP Support Engineers in confirming the

validity of the problem and seeking and researching for known solutions related to these more complex issues; and

(c) Possess at least one (1) of the following certification:

 Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in Windows Client or equivalent;

 (ii) Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE) in one or more of the following: Desktop Infrastructure, Server Infrastructure, Communication or equivalent; or

 (iii) CompTIA A+ 220-801/ 220-802, CompTIA PDI+ or equivalent.
