Job Description:

The BCC provides centralized command and control functionality associated with incident and problem support, ensuring continuous improvement of the quality of our service offerings. Job Mandate

The Operations Associate is responsible for processing the daily operations of the Operations Department of the branch.

He/She ensures prompt and efficient service delivery in compliance with the Bank’s service standards and internal control.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Inform clients of new relevant regulatory circulars and review their accounts to ensure continuous enhancement of quality service

2. Perform start and end of day activities as follows:

a) Review, prepare, and submit branch reports in accordance with existing policies, procedures and control

b) Ensure that the Operations adhere to the following:

▪ Bank policies, procedures and controls related to Treasury, Trade, Loans and Wealth transactions are strictly followed by designated personnel to attain an acceptable audit rating and implement Audit rectifications within the department.

▪ Regulations of Monetary Authority of Singapore, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Anti-Money Laundering Council and other pertinent government agencies.

3. Processing of trade, loans, inward/outward remittances, treasury and wealth transactions

4 Performs other duties assigned from time to time.

OVERVIEW:

The Operations Director is overall responsible for overseeing the successful running of the Domestic / Cross Border Operations of the company, which includes Air and Ocean Freight operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

· Provide leadership & decision making to the operations departments

· Setting of goals & objectives for operations and product to achieve annual volume growth targets in conjunction with sales and participates in company marketing and sales efforts

· Manage the integration & implementation of new structures developed in operations

· Manage resources including tackling staff performance issues and identification of training needs, reviewing productivity and local recruitment

· Ensure all transports are carried out within predetermined cost and security standards and perform annual service and cost reviews to ensure we meet market requirements

· Ensure the operations departments adhere to all quality requirements e.g. operational compliance & certifications, ISO, Bizsafe Star, etc. and work with Finance to adhere to financial compliance requirements

· Prepare monthly reports relating to productivity, profitability, compliance etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· A Diploma / Advance Diploma / BSc. degree in business and supply chain preferred or their equivalent.

· 10+ years of air and ocean freight products

· Highly motivated leader who is assertive and adept at working in a competitive, challenging and fast-paced work environment

· Results oriented

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

· English advanced proficiency (written and speaking)

· Cargowise system, Advance Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills

· Willing to travel occasionally

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Conduct performance evaluation for direct reports

· Recommend hiring, firing and promotion

· Identify and resolve departmental personnel issues

· Ongoing coaching and mentoring of staff to develop skills to the highest level

· Drives alignment & builds the team

ENVIRONMENT:

100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Travel will be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
