Job Description

1. Take a consultative approach in providing timely and quality advice to business and support units on compliance, regulatory and policy matters
2. As a subject matter expert, interpret and analyse new or revised regulatory requirements, and provide advice and guidance to responsible parties for timely and effective implementation of policies and procedures to comply with the requirements.
3. To review and provide comments to business and support units on their perodic/adhoc revision to their policies and procedures
4. To assist in the review of MAS' Representative Notification Framework application.
5. Formulate and timely update Compliance related policies and procedures to ensure that they are in-line with regulatory requirements and mitigate compliance risks; and assist in the roll-out and/or training of these policies and procedures bank-wide.
6. Work closely with business and support units to assess incidents whether they are regulatory breaches and handle reporting of regulatory breaches to MAS.
7. Part of the customer experience team to review the complaint handling process of the business and support units.
8. Assist to undertake management action plan to close Compliance-related audit points by regulator, internal audit and external audit.
9. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address and respond to regulatory inquiries on a timely basis
10. Timely escalation of adverse or significant compliance/regulatory issues to Compliance management.
11. Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor Degree with at least 5 years of relevant compliance working experience. Candidates who possess industry compliance certification (e.g ICA Diploma in Compliance) would have added advantage.
2. Strong knowledge in Banking Act, Securities and Futures Act and Financial Advisory Act. Good working knowledge of the different business segments (Corporate/Retail/Private Bank/Card Business).
3. Good written and communication skills with ability to develop a strong working partnership with external and internal stakeholders.

Job Description:

1. Review high risk on-boarding, periodic and trigger reviews for Individuals (Retail, Private Banking and Card Centre)

Responsibilities

• Data Request Management: Gain a deep understanding of the product team's data requests and provide support in building the data structure and roadmap. Ensure timely fulfillment of daily data needs. Additionally, gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery of data products.
• Stakeholder Collaboration and Workflow/SOP Development: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including the product team, BI team, data engineers, and business leaders. Work together to establish efficient workflows and SOPs with the product team, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
• Data Product Development: Develop data products for the assigned product line to guide the long-term development of the business. This includes creating a north-star or metrics system aligned with the goals of the product line.
• Data Governance: Thoroughly investigate recurring data issues by identifying underlying problems within internal data systems. Implement systematic approaches to address these issues. Collaborate closely with the data governance team to develop sustainable data governance solutions.
